Not sure if there will be any instant reaction in the SP, as unless you've been close to SAV for sometime it probably won't mean much to most. However I do see this as a major step forward in the project in many areas, such as speed of progressing, dealing with opposition, other strategic partners, financials, etc.

Should make for good reading in the DFS once finally produced.

Only good news is that through change of every government the message seems to be the same, Portugal needs to be mining as it's one area that can generate needed income and jobs.

And at least this one SAV can't be seen to be involved in the downfall as last time (though was not justified last time).

Does seem like all western governments having a competition to see who can get through the various political parties quickest.

Price would suggest that, but given the volume and time of day, it would follow the trend of being a trade by our Portugal friends. Often buying at a price about .1p above the Bid price and under the Mid price.

Could do with an actual resource update to put a rocket under the SP, the drilling is looking good so far, but need that converted into meaningful numbers.

Thought it was a good presentation. Felt EP and Ric did try to address the current SP question and say company not for sale at current discounted value.

Also seems that a lot of the local opposition has started to soften as the community see's what this can offer in the long term, with regard to job creation, regeneration, bringing people back to region, etc.

Hopefully the May/June presentation will come at a time when resource upgrades have occured, more approvals achieved and the SP up another 107%.

Maybe I'm giving the management too much credit, but hasn't one of the points being stated in the Presentation Packs is the "For Investors – A clear path to value generation" (Page 18 of last presentation). If there is some behind the scene agenda happening then surely they would want to keep any "Path to value generation" buried and out of sight.

Why go around saying the SP should be 3,4 or 5 times current price if that return is to be limited to those on the "Inside".

In addition though a company can be owned outright by another party based on 50% + 1 Share threshold, I believe for a company to be delisted from AiM it will require 75% shareholder approval. So even if a group of shareholders formed a single alliance to takeover SAV, they would need 75% of shareholders to agree to the takeover price for the shares to be delisted.

I don't know exactly what this would mean for the SP, would it stay stagnant at the offer price, or would it have to reflect what the new owners of 74.99% of the Stock believe the SP is worth?

So in my view, given the large private investor holding, any takeover offer would need to be at a price that avoids any messing around with 75% threshold ,etc.

There really can't be much free stock available these days, by the time you take into account the AMG, B of D, Slipstream, AL Marian, Portugal holding and then those long term holders on here. Will be interesting to see what happens to the SP once the drilling results and resource updates are announced. If anyone wants to start pilling in at that point, they might be in for a surprise at how little stock will be available.

42.2% being held by those 5 is good news I believe. Given that 2 are heavily involved in the company (Slipstream aka Dale) and AMG. They will not be selling out for 50 or 100% profit, they're in this for the long haul. I also believe the rest are in for seeing this through to a mining company. Add to this that there's many PI's been in this for a long time, and happy to see this through (me included) there is very little freely available shares. When this does get noticed, the prices being mentioned today certainly seem achievable in my opinion.

I wouldn't get to excited, all the RNS's just relate to the issuing of shares for AMG taking their position. As a result the other large shareholders have seen their percentage change downwards accordingly.

Last 2 placements have been April 2021 (Pre-AGM) and July 2023 (Post-AGM/new Scope Study), I don't think you can say there's any link between AGM and when funds are raised. As pointed out it's just standard practise to include such a condition.

I was listening to some of the UK election arguments, and planning is one area which UK apparently needs to improve certainly for environmental projects. The CEO of one electric company is on record as saying they could build a wind farm in 2 years, but it would take 5-6 years for planning and similar for the grid to hook up to the new wind farm, turning 2 years into 13-14 years.

I'm not saying all that SAV BOD have done is perfect, and yes we could be getting more news. But I just think that in Portugal ,as per UK, nothing on this scale moves fast. This itself does then have an impact on tie up agreements.

I've also been involved for 6+ years now, and do feel frustrated but at same time still have optimism that we will have spades in the ground eventually and when that day arrives, the SP will know no limits.

I think the private transaction for DA's shares would seem most likely, but not sure how quickly this could be done with Probate, etc. Depends on where shares were held I suppose.

There couldn't have been any new shares, as this would require a RNS to update the Total Issue amount.

It is promising that we're getting local buy-in, and not just token gesture but significant amounts.

Any idea that an alternative to the Li battery will be developed anytime soon for commercial purposes, meaning that MdB is not required is just pure fantasy. To think now 40-50 years after the Li-Ion battery was first invented it's still being improved and still has a long way to go on the affordability/recycling front.

Looks like at 14:23 today someone ignored the advice from Monty, nearly 2M at 3.58. Nice size trade.

I see SAV have commented in 'X' (formerly known as twitter) about doing interview with sicnoticias.pt. Looks like SAV are already making good on the comments in the results to be taking the lead on real information and not leaving the narrative to the anti-miners.

Until now all interviews seem to have been in response to a negative story, hopefully this is the first of many where SAV is leading the article.

Could be watched but depends what side of the fence you are on. In my honest opinion, there is certainly a high chance of Missing Out when news comes.

Be interesting to hear how the weekend goes....I hope they stick to their principles, so no phones (or anything that uses Li), no wood/oil burning fires, no meat from animals that produce large amounts of methane, no cars (ICE or EV), no removing water from source, no bottle water unless in a recycled produced container, all energy directly from Solar/Wind and used immediately (not stored), sound kept to below 55 decibels to the nearest house, etc.
