wpa5 – Re your comment @ 12.04:
‘I don't know which I hate the most ... the cyclical return to BB infighting and Pythonesque taunts or the deathly silence when everyone turns off for 24 hours..’
It’s frustrating to see the ‘usual suspects’ suckering genuine posters into pointless bickering over the last week or so. These individuals should really be on everyone’s ‘filter’ list by now.
All I can see are half arguments, so I took three of these off filter for 24 hours and was surprised to see experienced posters still falling into the same old trap.
AndyBe4, Fanifesto, Scinv – All posting stuff (anything) to generate a reaction, keeping them front and centre of the board, in order to maintain their own false sense of importance.
The content is irrelevant, just so long as you keep arguing, so they can tell you how right they are and how wrong you are in a condescending, belittling manner.
The first started their response with, ‘Shut up you child’.
Do you speak to people like that? Of course you don’t.
The second subconsciously admitted what their primary objective is by replying to a respected lth with, ‘I thought you had filtered me.... No you were just trying to make out my opinion did not matter.’
There you have it from the horse’s mouth, all that matters to these people is ‘that my opinions matter’.
These could be positive, negative, cross ramp – Anything, just so long as you keep replying.
The third, well where do you start with this fellow? Suffice to say I have asked for his removal once more, explaining that LSE had already banned him for unacceptable behaviour a couple of years ago.
Shunt these three into the sidings with all the other irrelevants, they really are not worth your keyboard time.
They have zero interest in your views, I suggest you reciprocate with immediate effect.
Use the filter option and turn their words into green rectangles.
These are now back on my filter list of 38, start compiling your list today, it’s very therapeutic.
I believe SNG are coming into the vital ‘make or break’ phase of development, so this is no time to tolerate antagonistic narcissists.

A man clearly ahead of his time.
