Bit surprised to see the move back in price today (no expert) but thought we’d see a gradual increase to $12k over the next week or so. I guess at a lower BTC the inefficient miners switch off but at a higher price everyone will be going for it. Surprised to see so many articles in main stream media about halving which isn’t a bad thing

You know what these guys clearly know what they are doing on this side of the business, we could just do with someone more experienced to deliver the wider business. It would also be nice for someone to invest so we can do away with the rubbish financing deal because right on queue they off load another 50m to drive the price down again.

Key result area.... I was being facetious usually kra’s are things likes deliver profit plan, grow market share, etc not make BOD the only ones making any money out of the Company ! I think there are some CEO of bigger companies on smaller remuneration packages.

I think they got 550m in the last phase of finance deal so suspect another 300m to go, I just can’t believe they don’t let the SP go up before they keep dumping.

Shandypants...great piece of breakdown on costs I would never have got there....I think we can all see where the money has gone now ! In my world you get paid for results clearly number one KRA for BOD is there remuneration package.

Was expecting some movement today based on the noise last night won’t call it ramping but it was borderline ! Looking at the trades looks like far more buys than sells today yet the SP is down ? Also looks like significant spread which will not help share price.

Alpaca...that align note is a month old and looks at March’s results. It also referenced a dividend policy in H1 which clearly the board didn’t reference in last weeks RNS. To be honest think they do need to do a special dividend at the half year to get the SP moving but I suspect they will take all the cash reserves and announce another machine order.

Don’t disagree but think there must be less demand in the very short term...my biggest issue is if China starts trying to restrict supply again as part of the trade wars which are going to ramp up again without doubt this could easily get to 8p again. To be honest not shown a lot of interest in this one as was speculative few grand, read the RNS but nothing jumped out at me as being likely to mean as massive rerate. I suspect news is imminent but not sure what as to my knowledge nothing due, unless latest results for April are stellar ?

Poptimist...bit of perspective, they are the most efficient listed miner. I think if I was at an AGM all my focus would be on controlling costs and returning some value to shareholders. At the moment they could be accused of being a bit of a life style company rewarding themselves with high salaries and low price point share options.

I bought into this a while back (on one of the spikes) around all the noise about US trying to secure supply because of deteriorating relationships with China. When things seemed to be improving the SP dropped right back. I would demand for rare earth material is probably a little reduced with lockdown but I think with demand likely to increase in the next quarter and US / China relations only likely to get worse I think this is worth a further punt !

Tyrion....totally agree just need to see what happens with halving now but suspect we won’t know true impact to Argo until Septembers update as think some inefficient miners might carry on for a period expecting the BTC price to explode. In my own opinion I think we sell it getting to $12k in the next few months but being the realist I am not expecting an explosion.

Yet again disappointed with this mornings update...as a result decided not to add anymore and cancelled the next lot of buy orders I had placed. Going to keep my holding but starting to feel more uneasy than I have in 18 months with this one. All LTH’s know the fundamentals that this should be at 12p now and has the potential to be 20p+ on the back of 2 or 3 quarters of positive news post halving.
