Hi Silverblade, yes, still here. Not going anywhere in the near term. Encouraging that Barnes says JFK is keen on diagnostics as a route to reduce health care costs. Sounds very sensible. So pleasantly surprised on that. I guess we just have to hope he'll follow through.

Interview with Julian Barnes. He says the company will be making over £3million this year, 7 million in 2025-6 and 17 million the year after. Over 300 doctors now using Renalytix and two big healthcare providers recommending it. He thinks those numbers will grow exponentially now because the product can be seen to work and to save money. Trump's team are saying that they will be very keen on diagnostics for preventative health care.

I suppose it's feasible that we'll have an update on EV or the Cummins tests before December. Certainly been a while since we've heard about the EV joint venture. Would be useful for DGI if they had them both on board firmly before they ask for additional input from VCTs.

So why do you think the sp will go down if they deliver as they suggested?

I'm out for now. I read up on the Hague appeal court in the Netherlands. I think Shell will lose. The court of appeal are very brave. They ruled against Shell in a similar case in 2018, confirming the lower court decision. Should have checked it out before. Likely to hit the papers tomorrow. Especially with cop29 in play. Will add to my renewable stocks.

Jd, you don't know that the market won't respond to good news at Mount Stedman and Yarrol do you? Just feigning confidence in your consistent deramping. If it's good news I would expect the market to respond well. The price of gold is high and will probably go higher now that Trump is in. Which I'm heartbroken about. Logical that safe havens will become more appealing now though.

Relevant parties are probably waiting for the Shell test case now. The industry seam to be encouraged by the 100% allowance for first year drilling and for decommissioning and green transition investment. But still holding their breath. I am waiting. We need a green transition but it won't happen overnight.

VCTs are allowed to invest up to 20% of their funds in blue chips, gilts or bonds if they want to. In any case DGI qualifies as a start up in every other respect. It's less than 7 years old, has less than 250 employees and less than £15 million assets at the moment. New FCA rules aim to encourage more FTSE small cap firms to raise funds from investment funds.

Parkmead is up 25% today. Could be the bounce that all the junior oil companies have had since it's become clear they won't lose any EPL allowances. Or could be they're about to submit their FPSO.

Have you checked out the new FCA rules? They want to address this to encourage investment in the UK. Aim ain't for everyone.

I watched Liontown's presentation. What's wrong with it? They've got £273 million in the bank. Agreed a £250 million credit facility at g8 rates with a green energy giant. Built an underground mine and have delivered their first spot order to a new customer. Tesla and Ford are waiting in the wings. They are working on reducing their capex innovatively and sustainably. Looks like they want to see the price of lithium rise but either way they're ploughing forward. Next update is before the end of 2024, all things being equal.

Mila may have something to say before then about the early appraisals. Liontown won't be going into that before Mila do.

Not sure why DGI need to bother transferring to Aim now. New FCA rules are going to allow fundraising on main markets much more efficiently and for less money. Why would they bother when the main market is more transparent. If they're about to break out or at least position themselves in a strong innovative space in the green transition the main markets should be more attractive to a lot of players. What's stopping vcts from coming in now? Hope they decide to take advantage of these new FCA rules designed to encourage investment.

The full budget statement is out now. 100% EPL first year allowances will remain and will be further reviewed for the future during the consultation with a decision next Spring. So companies embarking on new projects are off the hook. JOG have also just bounced 30%.

Nearly a billion dollars now into a Nevada lithium miner from GM Motors. Second tranche of funds in the last year. Aiming to secure long term access to this precious mineral needed for electric vehicles. They are assuming that demand will spike in the near future. Exactly the same strategy taken by Ford and Tesla who have both invested in Liontown, Mila's 1.6 billion partner.
