Dominic Murphy and CVC10 Jun 2022 16:25
Interesting that Dominic Murphy has decided that now is the time to step down. He's on the CVC durectorate isn't he? Who have just withdrawn from the Boots takeover.
Noticed that the RNS emphasise that he's had no say on the King St bid. I'm sure that's the case, given the criticism of company governance. He will still know the offers being made by anyone engaging won't he (as a THG board member).
And yes, those with direct interests in buying the company are both heavily invested and on the board. I wouldn't be surprised if the consortium for Boots who went in there with £4 billion make a bid for THG.
The shorting and rebuying is very opportunistic and very much looks like insider dealing to me. Blatant. And when those bids come in, guaranteed they will be allowed to buy back at a profit. Working it up, down, up again at PIs expense. Think it's going up again though. Moulding wants £2.50 at least. I am holding.
