I sold today Bubble as I made very clear. I will buy back at some point. I like HARL. I don't think tomorrow will go our way for reasons I have clearly explained. Quite shocking levels of denial about climate change here😅 Dinasour city!

I wouldn't have invested if I didn't think the energy crisis is a massive consideration. But I had no idea that the Unionists were also vs in Northern Ireland. I had another read of the annual report earlier today. Prompted by all the selling. The comment on Island Magee is: 'We are advised that we have limited chance of success'. I suppose that's a tiny bit ambiguous 😆 And the idea that they will plough on anyway even if they lose is I'm afraid just plain disingenuous.

Anyway, at this point in time I'm not invested so aside from answering Bubble's question I won't post again.

There won't be street riots. I mentioned that in response to Forest Gump's suggestion that there would be if HARL loses. 'If anything ' it would be the other way round.

The point I was trying to make is that there's a majority of political parties from left to right in N.I vs. I didn't know that until today. It's naive in the extreme to suggest that this is irrelevant. Political parties don't take up issues unless there's traction for them.

If HARL do win that opposition won't disappear. Island Magee and the gas caverns look like a duster to me. I wouldn't put it past a Tory government foisting an unpopular decision on local people but it's not a given if the judge refers it back to them. A Labour government will let it quietly die and it won't see the light of day. There will be other potential storage sites for gas or hydrogen which won't have the same environmental impact.

The likes of TFG assume everyone is like him, in denial about climate change. They aren't. The majority of the British public know it's real. HARL have many other strings to their bow. I expect the sp will recover and do well even if they lose. Not overnight though. GLA.

Yep. I change my mind if information I have changes. Every political party has lodged an objection. I think it will matter, yes. But best of luck either way.

Just checked 'No Gas Caverns' on Twitter. The whole political spectrum including the UDA, Sinn Fein, the Alliance Party and the Greens have all lodged objections. They have managed to unite left to right across Northern Ireland. Not feeling confident of a win I'm afraid. I suspect any 'rioting on the street' won't be if it goes vs the government. I'm out for now.

In the US you could see a class action on behalf of retail investors once it was proved. Investing is popular in the states though. Has it ever happened here? Would be good to see decisive action to clean up the markets on insider dealing imo.

What he should have done in the first place instead of the useless and morally bankrupt attempt to take over the company. He'll have lost some credibility if/when he gets his day in court as a consequence. Hope he wins though if he does.
