I agree 40p is low if the data confirms their claim for 95% accuracy. My assumption is based on them selling before regulatory approval. If they wait then they need money to get through the FDA and NICE processes. So it would be a longer timeline. If they wait for regulatory approvals it will go for over £1.00. Some way off atm.

They are saying they want to go the whole way. Might be tempted by an early offer in reality. We'll see soon enough hey. I am in for the whole ride whatever it turns out to be.

They should be focusing on the US and Europe including the UK anyway. Difficult to form reliable partnerships with China for significant breakthroughs of any kind of strategic importance atm. The politics is edgy with the US and China now because of the war in Ukraine. A number of companies are having deals already signed and sealed being held up with China. Look at Ceres Power. Their deal involving multi nationals keeps getting kicked into the long grass. Hopefully that won't extend to bio meds but I reckon the US will want it first if they have the opportunity.

Brondby, I really hope they don't sell before the trials. Can't see it. They know what they have with a best in class test for early detection of lung cancer. I think they could get an offer after the trial data is released. Hope they hold out for a lot more than 20p. Once they get regulatory approval it will be worth a couple of hundred million. They should be looking at an offer for at least 40p surely?

Totally agree GreenD. If the test trials go well Biotechne will want to be part of the game plan. Though the do have $16 billion dollars so it looks like they will buy the whole game plan😆 And why would they partner with a duff set up? They will have done their due diligence. The mc for Ciz is so low and the potential in a worldwide market is huge. Early intervention saves lives and money. Diagnostics is absolutely smoking hot now that everyone has seen how easy and successful it is through covid, though it was already very much on the radar in biomeds.

Ciz gets to retain an interest in the company as a shareholder. Murphy easily exceeds the Nasdaq threshold. Ciz has no restrictions on exercising it's options.

It could be Ciz that's caused the blip I'm CDT sp though easily. They can't tell us until a TR1 is issued to CDT shareholders. If they pressed at $14.00 that's £4.9 million. Check the records for institutional holdings. Down by 535,000. Ciz could easily be in the mix. Too many negative assumptions.

Institutional holdings are down over 500,000 according to Nasdaq. They might have sold at once at $14.00. Who knows.

I checked the agenda earlier too. Looks like it won't be published until 20th December according to the notice of the meeting? Local press sometimes get it wrong. Expect it will be RNSed by the company before then though. As soon as it's confirmed that they're recommending it. But it's unclear whether that will be tomorrow or not. Unlikely to be such a big gap? But who knows.

They can sell whenever they want, hopefully at a good price. The fact that the CDT stock has fallen back after the IPO just means that some investors have cashed in profits at once. Happens all the time. The price is likely to recover if CDT start delivering. Also very likely in their case.

Ciz management aren't stupid. They will have taken advice.

But the important thing for us us that they get started on the trials to validate the test for early detection of lung cancer. If they get results showing high sensitivity and specificity they will be a market leader. Then it's game on. This stock could go stratospheric. But it'll probably get bought out before they even go large on production. The partner have production facilities for 'high throughput' but the partner also has billions of dollars. Chances are they'll be loathe to share the profits and will prefer to take them over.

If the test is good those are my assumptions.

And there's work ongoing with York University for cancer tests and therapeutics. Other relevant catalysts in the meantime. I think some posters were hoping for blockbuster news on the investment so they can sell for a 20% return or something.

It is likely to go up. They have at least £3.25million that they didn't have. That's the point. They can get on with the day job without needing to raise from us. The test looks very exciting. Established pharma companies don't go into partnership without good cause. It must be very credible with great potential. The market will be massive and they could be producing in 6 months time. Your 2.3p invested now will be worth multiples of this if all goes well. Most microfilms get held back through lack of funds. Those investments have been very fortuitous. Should climb steadily from here.

Yeah. I was in OBD. The deal with Biome is an authentic professional partnership between a minnow and a heavyweight. When the test is validated they will get bought out I expect. Now they have a few million to get those trials done. Ciz's test will be a gamechanger for lung cancer and OBD's test will be a game changer for prostate cancer. Ciz's test looks as if it could be adapted for lots of cancers though. Cancer diagnostics and treatment is a very hot space for big pharma atm isn't it?

Kingalf, there are trolls like you on every stock. So what. You are part of the reason for the fall. People become discouraged. I have just pointed out that OBD don't have any kind of agreements with big pharma at this point in time.

DSFlat shared an interview with Staclia's CEO today. It's hugely encouraging. They're in the middle of a merger with a much bigger company. The driver for the merger is their work on neurodevelopmental disease. It's a huge market if they deliver. The same context for the $160 million deal with EVG. It implies a 35 bagger before you take any other forwards earnings into account. The market is just us private investors atm. It won't be in a year's time.

Delays are part of life. Any complex and challenging, ambitious solution takes time. Then suddenly everything can come together. OBD have delivered 6 months before expectations. Just because your tiresome whinging is encouraging some PIs to sell doesn't mean that anything you say is remotely relevant.
