I thoroughly agree with the likelihood of an acquisition from Bio-techne btw. As Neil has pointed out they are keen on M&A as part if their growth strategy and they already have their foot in the door with the current partnership. As soon as they RNS a completed design for these trials intended to demonstrate readiness for regulatory approval and commercialisation this price will be history.

I don't know anymore than anyone else obviously. The way the macroeconomic picture is now it doesn't look as if any of those difficult factors are going to diminish anytime soon. Inflation is falling fast in the EU. Think it will keep falling here- if we follow the EU trend it will start to fall faster. Wages aren't really higher across the board. Bankers bonuses are distorting that. All data from the ONS. So that's why bankers, and analysts are predicting a steady state now. Don't think it's a coincidence that our sp is creeping up.

The BoE will hold. The EU have held and are closing in on a recession in several countries. We have the highest level of insolvency since 2009. Unemployment is creeping up. Mortgage approvals down everywhere. War is still on so the risk of another spike in oil prices is very present. The sp is low because bored PIs have sold. As soon as the design for trials for the lung cancer test are announced that will be the beginning of a turnaround. If Ciz sold their CDT shares we'll find out soon enough. As long as they have the money to get through the trials I don't think we'll see further dilution. Trials for tests won't be as time consuming as trials for treatments.

The results are likely to be good since they have completed some trials already- this is about scaling up for regulatory compliance isn't it? We could be at 20p in 6 months time if all goes well.

I think the interview is positive for shareholders. Interested in what the new CFO is alluding to with reference to 'plans to increase shareholders value'. He says we'll find out so that's encouraging. Big news is Staclia finishing design of phase 2 autism trial. Hope they hurry up😄

The EU kept interest rates stable this week as expected. The BoE decision is on 2nd November this week, also expected to remain stable. All the financial pundits are predicting this in the light of the weaker employment data from the UK this week. Very good omen for the new and much improved finance arrangements promised by JW. Looks like a few investors are anticipating that news on this front will be good news. Might not be too long before we hear. I think it will be the most significant catalyst to get things moving towards fair value. GLA 🤞

I think you must be shorting tbh. Which is a very precarious way to try to make money. Even harder than investing. This is going to get worse and worse for you if you're shorting HARL. If you're down it's better to cut your losses now. Not usually got sympathy for shorters but I sort of feel sorry for you if you're going to lose your shirt (trousers, house, car?).

Banks and city pundits are anticipating that interest rates will stabilise at 5.25% now after today's employment data, due to the weakness in the labour market and the likelihood of a 'mild' recession. Inflation should reduce. Expecting 0% rise in interest rates a week on Friday. JW and UKCEF may as well bite the bullet on a new finance agreement for HARL after that. The investment case for HARL is superb. The current finance arrangements are poor. As we all know that's what the main drag is for the sp. Ideal for new investors obvs. They can come in now with some confidence at a heavily discounted sp knowing that a plethora of good news is on the way with nearly a billion pounds on the order book and the right environment in this industry to keep on winning. Good time to buy imho.

Just joined AJBell for a SIPP. The concensus of investment experts they're featuring suggests that an awful lot of UK stocks, including lots of small caps are very undervalued. The main issue right now is interest rates. Once these have stabilised they expect the start of a flow of investment coming back into 'cheap ' UK stocks, including credible small caps. With close to £1 billion revenues on the order books I'd say that includes HARL. I also think the financing deal will follow very quickly once the assumption of stabilising interest rates is in focus.

Next BoE decision is 2nd November. If they keep rates the same the smaller hedge funds will start jumping in. Probably better to get in first for a top up at least to make the most of our investment imho. Buy low, sell high and all that jazz.

It's fairly irrelevant in the context of the core product and it's potential value Joe. If the trials get a good set of results then all kinds of partnership arrangements will come into view for scaling up production of the test for early detection of lung cancer. It's a bit silly worrying about the CDT investment which will come good in it's own time. The share price will move on news of the test. Or before if enough investors start to see the opportunity here and start buying before the sp begins to reflect that potential. I am not worried atm. I will buy some more this week or next. Unbelievable value atm.
