I think the government are on the offensive now. They leaked the trial data to correct Harding's poor representation. Next they will confirm the trial data from PHE, followed soon after by formal approval on the analysis on antibodies and immunity. The vaccine is described as triggering immunity which is further qualified to include both antibodies and t cells. That puts to rest the question mark over antibodies and immunity. Interesting that the vaccine showed antibodies at day 28 and day 56. 56 days was the length of this stage 1 vaccine trial. T cells visible for 28 days. So also puts to bed the idea that t cells are visible for longer.
The vaccine is no threat either - since we don't know how long immunity will last we need antibody tests to check for boosters as Dr Hand says, they will be used together. The tests are cheaper than vaccines and easy to use. 100 million doses of vaccines are ordered. May well end up getting a bigger order for antibody tests. ODX may be asked for everything it has for both poc tests. Vaccines may take time to come onstream. We still need to get back to work. Test, test, test.

Nickel Investor, btw I just popped into your bb to point out to your shareholders that Boo is all over the news as a creating the site of a serial spreader hotspot by forcing it's workers to work in conditions which went out with the ark. It won't blow over. People are shocked. Hello. We have a global pandemic. I have also suggested that they might go some way to restore the moral vacuum that is investing in Boo when they know what they know, by coming here instead. Enough sells over there exceeding 250k to see which way the wind is blowing at Boo. On the other hand we are a fast growing company in the right place at the right time with the best products. Government backed (I know lol) but they will get there. They are spending £5 billion on testing so your CEO's £14 million (less than his £16 million bonus recently) don't really cut it. We are getting £250k buys. Maybe some of your big players can smell the coffee?

The Boo CEO has had more than that in a bonus before he's been revealed as running a sweat shop. No thanks.

Sir Patrick Vallance has also said we can expect new waves of the pandemic in years to come. For the future they want diagnostics to test for flu, cv19 and potentially other viruses. From the Chief Scientific adviser this afternoon. I don't think that rise is just about us.

Mb, doesn't mention tests. I think lots of countries might want to run mass testing programs in the meantime to establish prevalence and to try to keep their economies afloat. No-one wants 12-13% unemployment. That's on the table without a second spike according to OBR latest forecast. It could get close to apocalyptic without effective intervention.
