Everything is for sale, Amur is no exception. Offer enough for BHP, Rio Tinto, Vale and their shareholders would vote to accept. Everything has a price, especially in the commodities sector.

In Amur’s case they need to do all the donkey work for potential suitors before they’re likely to get any “acceptable” offers and that’s what they’ve been doing these past few years. That and treading water on occasion waiting for the nickel price to improve.

Established mining companies don’t like risk and they’re happy to wait and pay a premium while somebody else reduces that risk for them. The problem we have, as I see it, is the lack of competition for Amur's asset. That’s why the go it alone option seems to me to be so important. They need to make that a realistic proposition if they’re going to achieve a reasonable sale price.

PIs can be awfully fickle as well which is their biggest weakness and the principal reason why many never achieve the significant gains that AIM provides from time to time. I'm guilty of that particular weakness myself, I think most of us are.

Some opportunties display their potential writ large. Unfortunately many still fail to see what's staring them in the face. Horizonte is one such opportunity.

This is just my opinion and my opinion is no more valid than anybody else's.

I think AH has been sidelined because the NRR deal and the Glencore connection suggest a genuine attempt to make going it alone a serious proposition. If somebody is kicking the tires then they're not going to want to be saddled with an offtake.

Why 12 to 18 months! From this point to first metal is about a 3 to 4 year development path at best. That's 2024/25 which is around about the time nickel is expected to go into significant deficit (although I think it will be earlier than that). The further down the development path we go the more committments we will make with funders and off-takers. Anybody looking to buy Amur at that point will need to pay more. Furthermore they will be buying into a project with deals/ committments in place that are not of their making and quiet possibly not to their liking.

This is all guess work on my part but that's how it looks to me.

Yes, the "gap". I recall your post here several months ago about Horizonte's gap. Not so sure that will be filled, esepcially if funding news is announced but we shall see soon enough. As for EUA that's one I need to steer well clear of myself. My view on that one hasn't changed.

You might not get a particularly warm reception on the HZM BB for posting your opinion but you'd certainly get a very hostile, abusive one on the EUA BB. Best to steer well clear.

Less than 12 months ago Horizonte's share price hit a level lower than Amur's current share price. On the right news, or the wrong news, things can turn around very quickly.

I'm in Horizonte and they've got great prospects but they've also had a much easier ride than Amur by a long country mile, plus some. Amur's BOD gets very little credit for steering the company through a historically low nickel price environment when junior mining finance all but dried up. For a company that's supposedly only been kicking the can down the road since the license was granted they've managed to tick an awful lot of the boxes needed to move the project forward. When the license was granted we had a 860,000 tonne nickel equivalent resource. Once RPM has finished updating the JORC with the 2018 drill results I'd expect that figure to be around 2m tonnes. That's not kicking anything down the road never mind cans.

As for the dilution issue I presume you are aware that Amur has fewer shares in issue than Horizonte? With all of the advantages Horizonte has had over Amur wouldn't you have expected them to have an awful lot less?

On the right news the share price will move up, its just a matter of time. As for the kicking the can down the road, Amur is a life style company (b)ollocks that's all that is, (b)ollocks.

Horizonte inherited millions of dollars worth of historical exploration work and technical data on the projects they picked up. Amur has had to do it all from scratch.

Also it’s worth noting that Horizonte, in a presentation dated 1st. Q 2018, said they would be producing first nickel 1st. Q 2021. I don’t see your (b)itching about that deadline being missed.

The license is, in effect, sealed. The RNS deals with amendments to the license.

"....the Company's Kun-Manie "Detailed Exploration and Mine Production Licence" ("DEMP"), have been amended and registered with Rosnedra, the State Licencing Agency."

All subsequent conditions remaining to be met/complied with are no different to any license in the mining industry. Failure to comply with all/any requirements of the license, for example submitting the TEO or mine plan, results in the license being revoked. Likewise, failure to comply with any other conditions attached to the granting of the license would result in the license being revoked. That’s standard practise in the mining industry. The TEO remaining to be submitted does not negate the license already granted.

The revised dates for the TEO and nine plan were dictated by this.

"Various amendment alternatives have been and are available to companies. The Company's amendment programme was based on a full amendment to the licence itself. Other lesser regulated amendment options are available, however, the Company undertook the full amendment process as it is considered to be the most conservative and most solidly based amendment in the Rosnedra regulatory system."

The rigid system in Russia dictate what you can change and how. The drop dead by dates being move on, in both instances, by 1 year doesn't, as you correctly say, mean submission on or around these dates. The new dates are merely what's allowed, 1+ year or nothing.

IMO Amur brought Tom Bowens on board precisely for that purpose. He sold IG Copper's project at Malmyzh to Russian Copper for $200m a very early stage low grade, large resource copper deposit. I reckon we will see similar at some point, possibly fairly soon after the TEO has been submitted but certainly before the middle of next year.

I'm in both HZM and AMC. AMC will get sold within the next 12 to 18 months IMO. I expect it to go for significantly more than its current MC of £20m. It would achieve an awful lot more if they were to take it all the way through to production but I don't see that happening.

If the volume was a little bit higher and we were seeing a bigger number of meaty buys I’d venture to suggest a leak. As things are currently looking I think it’s just the growing interest in nickel and EVs.
