Haven't a clue. The point Blackrhino1 makes about Putin’s desire to open up the Far East I think relevant. The issue, however, was more to do with attracting foreign investment to help open up the Far East not home grown companies doing it. I still think that's what they are trying to achieve. The problem Russia has in attracting foreign investment is part of the world will not touch them becuase of sanctions and the other part will not touch them becuase of a mutual mistrust/ enmity. Just look at the number of countries the Chinese have invested in wroldwide but how few Chinese backed projects there are in Russia. Likewise the number of large western miners with operations in Russia. You can count them on the fingers of one hand.
The size of the resource and the ever increasing nickel price (and copper price) means KM will have to be developed at some stage. Who is going to do that is not clear. Going it alone may turn out to be the only viable option so, to make that a possibility, best to put as much in place, NRR, TEO, JORC, as we can.
