STD, you spent countless years trying to diss Trmr and its predecessor, what do you expect!
You continue to crow about how you recently sold at a high.
You still try to short Trmr every which way you can on advfn board.
Then you wonder why someone bites you on the bum here??
DOHHH!
Any rebranding name change that does not sound like an ill omen would be a good idea.
Tremor has bad vibes in its name, from earthquake to Parkinson's disease.
Encouraged by his wife, Harry is using the Press/publicity to air his issues and his late mother suffered doing much the same.
doggy,
In 1858 boxer John Morrissey about verbal taunts by his would be opponent John Heenan, recorded in the Marysville Tribune (Ohio).
"If he means business, let him put up, or shut up".
Clearly Prince Harry is playing up to the Press and should PU or SU!
Ad spend has been reduced in the current poor economic climate.
Most Adtech companies are therefore down now.
A report from Omdia (via The Elec) suggests that TCL (Mostly using use Roku OS) will overtake LG (WebOS ) and assume the position of the second-largest TV maker in the world, just behind Samsung which uses TizenOS.
TCL has been one of the fastest-growing brands in the TV industry, largely thanks to the success of its Roku TVs and, to a lesser extent, its Android TV OS lineup.
According to a new report, TCL is now set to surpass LG in TV production.
Most Hisense TVs sold in North America are based on Android (4.2.2 Jelly Bean?) But some models run the popular Roku platform and some run on Hisense’s propriety brand Vidaa OS smart platform.
Not sure why Hisense are not pushing their own Vidaa brand more strongly, perhaps it is a relative late-comer to the game?
I assume Roku effectively has its streaming stick software built into the TV.
Like Amazon Fire TV has its Fire stick (dongle) effectively built into its own branded TV's.
Basically you just need an operating system in the TV which has access to common streaming apps.
Like sticks or dongles the streaming TV connects to your Wi-Fi network to stream content.
I would only choose a streaming TV based on budget and experience offered.
He (Ofer) should be feeling the heat of pressure to perform and compete more than ever by now.
Or do the fat cats really feel stress when they have millions upon millions squirreled away?
Excessive director remuneration can be successfully challenged by shareholders and the director forced to repay.
It is a breach of director duty to pay themselves too much
Breaching their duties as director(s) by setting their salary in accordance with their own interests, in contrast to their duty as a director. Excessive remuneration amounts to unfair prejudicial treatment to minority shareholders.
Unfair prejudice is a claim the minority shareholders can bring in court under s994 of the Companies Act 2006.
I don't believe a sale is 'on the cards'.
1. Court case pending results.
2. Cash in the bank
3. Amobee still integrating
Tremor would no more sell at a low than I would, excepting if I were very desperate to raise cash!
However, major players can (and do) make money by pushing the sp lower and then letting it rise.
LG have seen the writing on the wall (in the court case) and kicked out the Alphonso peeps who played the dog in the manger with Tremor.
Should be fun to see what compensation Tremor is granted.
doggy,
I thought the bigger players had asked Tremor to put itself up for sale many months ago, and/or conduct a strategic review.
Tremor won't comment if they are still in preliminary talks.
Yes! doggy,
Why don't the fools issue an RNS stating speculation about a sale is just that?
I can't see the major players agreeing to a 'fire sale'.
doggy,
Yep! Our little votes don't count at all.
Why bother?
The major players will have their pound of flesh in the end.
Whether we can last that long is another matter!
doggy,
Corporate greed, despite poor performance, cannot be tolerated.
Their huge pension packages, accumulating in the background, are another issue.
Where do we go from here?
Resolutions 12 and 13, were removed from the AGM's agenda in order for the Board to further discuss and evaluate the matters after receiving input from the Company's shareholders.
In other words the management have been caught with their fingers in the till, or in U.S. parlance, the cookie jar.
Too Right!!
Otherwise the management would surely have 'screwing the pooch'.
I assumed Tremor's investment was purely for a long term agreement of exclusivity - for ACR measurement, powered by Vidaa, and targeting as well as monetization via Unruly and Spearad.
This monetization will surely not be exclusively for Tremor's benefit.
Vidaa using the 'equity investment to broaden its market (hence Tremor's reach) and also providing added value to its OEM partners.
I remember that Tremor previously had an 'exclusive' agreement where ACR measurement was powered by Alphonso, later acquired by LG of S. Korea.
The jury is still out on that one...
Yes doggy!
Just as people who are moaning here about the cost of living, and blaming the government, should wake up to the background cost of Covid and Putin's war.
The people of Ukraine are suffering truly massive damage and deprivation, of basic food, power and accomodation.
We should always see the bigger picture.
As for Amobee, Tremor have an eye for a good deal, scavenging the better parts, so we should wait until we see whether they have really blundered into a tar-pit before castigating their latest purchase.
Hi doggy,
Why are these events so expensive?
The 2022 elections are expected to cost over $16.7 billion.
I imagine more disputes where voting is too close to call immediately.
