The latest Investing Matters Podcast episode with London Stock Exchange Group's Chris Mayo has just been released. Listen here.
I agree with you both, even though I'm a QPP holder, I'm so sick of the stock chatter, headlines, noise call it what you like and if goes away great but I enjoy good performers far from the limelight, such as NAS. I do feel for people with paper losses or losses forced upon them, but if you're investing in Aim accept the risk and shut up, learn more about the reasons why this stock went down in the first place and use this knowledge in the future. I don't know half of it but surely investors need to be less optimistic and more realistic about what could go wrong first before they start counting the money
I'd like to top up but this current spread is definitely a minus sum game.
Thanks mate sorry about the spell, might put it in Ilika then.
Do you follow, noticed a couple of posts by you. Totally inactive but has money, good people and as tight as you'd ever want. Any news would be electrifying. am in here as we'll on total speculation.
Hi mate, i agree the gains today make me more circumspect, as we are all aware of the dangers of chasing the price. Thanks for your reply. I do hope the insurer can come good but once fallen victim escape can be difficult. You see AIM littered with that scenario.
Hi all is anybody out there? I know no news can be good news but perhaps not in this case. Will the shell ever be opened? Have a good holding but sometimes you wonder whether it could be put to better use. As luck would have it if I did sell they'd announce something the next day!
Just stumbled upon this looks good my sort of company and not too much crowd noise. Do you think I've missed the boat as already strong gains here.
Good to see some interest here and increase in retail buying. Done the research and looks good. Like all these tech start ups it will take time but the business is a fundamental part of all our lives so If they can get it right the opportunities here are nothing short of of phenomenal.
Gil Leates worked with Majadie, a top investment house with a top quartile return over 5 years and a trust that I currently own. It has an excellent pedigree. On that basis and of course the more obvious one I have invested here and will pound average in over the next month. These type of people don't come together for tea they're here to make dosh for themselves and hopefully us. I expect big things over a medium timeframe.
It's quiet here now and pricing a bit softer does anyone agree with me that its a good time to buy.
good times ahead for LPA with governent funding for future projects.Good luck all! from georgie greig
As good as an RNS gets!!!!!!
LPA is another.
Bought in today after doing some analysis. Early days in the economic recovery should bode well. Do people agree its often these fundamentally sound but slightly less exciting shares that perform best on aim, probably because they have real businesses.
