Yeah mate, I've always owned shares and treat it seriously, but as I get older and to some extent wiser, I think the rules have changed. It's no longer find good, find value and hold, it's a traders game. I find property a bit dull. But someone pays for you to own it and in the meantime market supply and demand rules, as it should be. At least it's not been sold on me.
Yes Uncle, even though the potential for some Aim shares is enormous, I for one am getting tired of this selling for profit game and will in time give it away unless legislation is bought in. It makes a mockery of sound investment decisions and natural market forces.
Hi all. Does anybody know if graphite is used with this new generation of batteries like it is with today's lithium ion models. The tie up is STGR which is looking positive as is the graphite market in general. A bit off topic but you can see my grand design.
Thanks for your research. Recent news has seen successful patents awarded to Ilika, however I do not believe they're worldwide. We should expect some competition in this area of technology, though the barriers to entry are very high, namely intellectual property. I believe the global market place to be so large that others companies in the arena are unlikely to affect Ilika's potential profitability. Here's hoping.
I conclude that due to the lack of exceptional news, notwithstanding that it was all good news, markets had priced in prior to today. As investors I don't think we can ask for much more from a growth story, considering its dividend policy. The revenue stream is a no brainer and underpins the model and future profitability. I believe gaming, like tobacco, is a fundamental vice of society, for good or for worse, it's global, it's hugely cash generative and it's not going away anytime soon.
