The big 100 and then some congrats to shareholders
What a great trust and in a sweet sector for the years to come. Highest holding in my portfolio.
Thanks for the response I'll take it on board.
Would like to get in here. Just awaiting some news that will hopefully remove those Chinese political risks. The numbers look impressive if they get what they're owed.
OK that's a date to look out for thanks
Been looking at this from the sidelines but still consider it good value. The sector looks promising after years of inactivity, outside the London market. Recent announcements and fundamentals look positive so NAV and PE should look after themselves. Nice and boring just the way I like it so I'm in. GLA
Thank you both to the welcome onto the SYQ bb, it's awfully polite, and a pleasant change from the hustle and bustle of others. I'm a UK resident, and been here for about 15 years, and have been investing most of that time. I still go back home once a year to see that everything's OK without me and of course to check up on the Aussie share market. I seem to pop in and out of Aim depending on my investment risk at the time but enjoy researching and following smaller companies. I think it's quite bizarre that I have in the past owned SOLG , to my memory the only small cap mining share I've ever owned here. I'm sorry to tell you that I made fabulous gains on it probably by good luck than good skill, but all for the taking. If you look back on the SOLG chart I was in for that massive spike and sold in the afternoon...I couldn't believe it! These days I'm concentrating on new ideas in tech areas like nano and the like but it's still early days. I am following IKA and think its very promising but contrary to my normal boundaries its not based on maths. As for AMED I've known about this reverse takeover cash shell for a couple of years. Qatar Investment Authority are major shareholders and I just like the way they're going about the business..... long term though and yes it could come to grief. I am wary of the market at the mo with so many people seemingly unaware of risk in penny shares on these boards and how favourable conditions have been in the last 18 months. Things can change very quickly on Aim and we all need to be watchful. Having said that its great to have fun and reward ourselves after the hard grafting and research. Good luck fellas talk soon. Hi Libero, Nothing to technical about my approach. I do like finding company's a bit unloved. I run checks on daily RNS words like substantial or exceed. I follow director buys daily. I also imput screens with low share issuance, market caps under 75m and because I'm a bottom feeder I like seeing substantial share buying not long after a 52 week low. I guess this means I'm sniffing around looking for a reversal. I also have to understand what I'm reading about. I think Syqic appeared because it was a recent IPO. I' m an OZ and over the years have learnt most things about mining shares than most and suffered accordingly with the very occasional winner, so I avoid this type of share on Aim. Having said that my family have had a 30 year shareholding of BHP.
Enjoy your chat fellas. Joined here as have taken a position a few weeks back after running my daily stock screen . Could be an interesting play over the next few months.
Gone very quiet here when can we expect updates
Nice for a change. Notice the strength today after serious falls on wall street.
