They say that many a true word spoken in jest, but that said Londoner does have a point too. If you think that you can easily spend over £100 on a trip to the seaside with your pan lids, if you take the coach/ train fare & theme park costs into account. To say nothing of the cost of buying the goodies for a picnic or a meal out for you all, it all adds up.whereas £50 - £60 in a beer garden for a couple of hours is a much cheaper option.

One example that springs to my mind is a pub not all that far away from where I live, not a Marstons pub I'm sorry to say which has a beer garden literally at the end of the runway at Manchester airport and as you can imagine, it makes an absolute killing in this weather, that along with the school holidays does rather well.

Supermarkets say that today they expect to sell record amounts of alcohol, but it's not because of the weather. The six week school holidays start next week.

Hi Bamps. It should be a fairly safe bet need sales being up. Maybe we're still drinking drowning our sorrows for not progressing to the final so a win - win from our point of view. Fingers crossed.

Aye, that's a plan. I fell into that trap myself. I held Crawshaws a while ago, it was one I did like quite a bit, and was £1800 up at one point, then out of nowhere, it dropped like a stone, the point is I didn't get out fast enough and got stung ouch.

That said, a harsh teacher is an effective teacher, right? Lesson learned, and I'm now a bit sharper for the experience.

In light of the Donald Trump 'Baby Trump' ballon being allowed to fly over London during his visit to the U.K., let's get a 'baby Khan' one and see if FREE SPEECH applies to all and whether or not Mr Khan and the London assembly will also approve this.

Sadiq Khan is an embarrassment. I get that he has no liking for Donald Trump, and that's his prerogative. But has this p rick got nothing better to do than fanny about taking the p155 out of the leader of our Country's biggest friend? He clearly does not care about the damage he could be causing, either that or he doesn't bloody well care. He should be concerning himself with the spike in knife crime etc that is happening under his watch rather than insulting the leader of the free world. He should be forced to go and have his job given to an adult.

I've had a bit of a look at GBP but still can't make my mind up on it atm. Mining Co's arnt really something I follow too much so only have a limited understanding of them. Might do a bit more research and dip my little toe.

I get that the sp river on the back of the recent rns, but to climb to this level from £1.24 at it's lowest that day to what it is now does seem odd.
