Agree - my only gripe with Novacyt is the lack of clear shareholder relations strategy. My last email to the IR lady: "Thank you very much for your response, Mandy. Your email is understood. However, I do feel that there is some confusion with shareholders out there. My view is that the value of the company will be better reflected in the share price of shareholders at least know that they can only expect the statutory 6 month updates (as well as material new sales/project updates). Most companies I invest in have at least clearly communicated their regular market updates strategy to the market - and most release quarterly trading updates regardless of materiality." Obvs no response received...

Has anyone seen any broker / analyst notes on the company? I can't find any...

Another relative positive is that the sell off is on low volume. So we haven’t got a major shareholder dumping shares. I’m going to try and switch off now until end of September - easier said than done! Enjoy the ramblings on this board

Appreciate the reassurance and responses from the board - sometimes my aversion for holding underwater positions is overridden by strong conviction - really hope I’m right here as I have almost 40 percent of all my cash in Nov!

Ok - I’ve reviewed my old notes and analysis on Novacyt and I have decided to change my predefined strategy here and removed my stop loss. I strongly believe the market is mispricing this - am going to now just wait another month and if I lose 20 grand from here then that will be a mistake repeated for me! May look at reducing my position if the price is still showing weakness.

I haven’t been taken out yet but am tantalisingly close. I suspect I will be tomorrow open. Not sure I should say much more - hold a sizeable position, let’s say in the region of 25,000-35,000 shares. Big fan of the company and think it’s undervalued. I’m having a think about whether to adjust my stop but have been badly burned by doing this in the past. My stop was quite tight and the question I’m grappling with is whether to now sit this out despite the share price now firmly in the stagnation-falling category rather than in a clear uptrend. One can always buy back in!

My guess is that they are being given encouraging signals from the government and are preparing the ground for the business to cope with increased management workload. Problem is that this government is a shambles and wounding surprise me at all if they messed testing up badly

A few people on here yesterday saying we’ve been awarded a significant U.K. tender but it’s being kept private by the company and/or government. I queried it and was told to ‘go back to bed’ if I remember correctly... any update chaps?

Fair enough @risehall - stops not for everyone and especially fundamental investors. My personal style is to invest based on good fundamentals, technical share price analysis and pre defined stops (which are updated regularly to reflect the sp and sp trend. Sadly, I’m extremely close to being stopped out, which will hurt but have to play by my own rules. Very bullish for Novacyt but I’ve found myself fighting the market before and losing! Expect to be stopped in next 24 hours.
