agreed but we can safely say that we are fully funded for a couple of years, bar suddenly jumping into action on GBA post Farmout of course !

JOG had £8.7m, with no debt, as at 30 June 2022. The 6 monthly loss was £1.2m (they seem to have really controlled costs well), so I would guess at least £7m as of today. We are very well funded to see us through the F/O process and beyond.

Well something big is happening, whether it comes to fruition or not, we will see. TOTAL RADIO SILENCE from the company. Deal of their lives for the management team.

I think a farm out is much cleaner for one of the oilers. If they bought JOG they would have to strip the company, make redundancies, wind up JOG group companies etc... quite costly and time-consuming. I also think that, taking a long term view, a farmout is more favourable for JOG - more value can be unlocked. We shall find out soon enough I suspect!

Unwarranted IMO. Revenues growing. £21m cash. £25m market cap. So the company's value is 84% underpinned by cash?! No wonder this was in the 2023 bargain shares list.

Yep - shouldn’t be allowed to own that much of a public company. I’ve sold just under half my holding above the offer price. Will keep half for the final showdown, whatever that may be. Saw the RNS headlines this morn, and was expecting to read 60-70% premium. So disappointing

The issue is that any counter offer from another party can just be voted down by them - I’m afraid KAPE is gone

Sad times - I only bought in a month or so ago. This is the end of KAPE as an independent PLC. The offer is too cheap but can you blame them? The market ascribing scandalous value to the shares. Hopefully another party will come forward

Good news indeed. Investing is the only way for the big boys to reduce tax bill - also given GBA will be net zero, I imagine the competition will be fierce. Hopefully only a few weeks to wait now.

I don’t think 34p will come for a few years but could well see 25p soon this year. I would average down if I were you. This has quite good momentum on its side and you could be at break even in a matter of months
