Filtronic is now also a Trump trade. With Trump and Musk in power for the next 4 years, Space X is going to go gangbusters. I listened to Musk talk about how the Democrats have tried to stifle his businesses - he gave a specific example about SpaceX red tape. I think FTC closes above 80p this week. £1 in cross hairs. The UK is buggered but FTC has exposure to the mighty US and now a massive beneficiary of Trump (Musk)

I wonder how but the smack down will be. 20% discount? that would be about 7p. Shocking considering the original price was 15p. 50% value destruction from poor management and poor financial planning.

Am I right in thinking that AVCT only has funding for another 12/13 months? I see that the share price is pretty much back at its last placing price. I presume the base case is that another placing will be needed by next summer?

Yep. Looks like potentially the most exciting UK listed growth company. 'Inline' statement is fine with me - that's 120% EPS growth! The update mentions new contracts for aerospace, space AND defence, so looks like all three pistons of the business are firing. P/e of 20 ? Seems a bit ridiculous given the above ...

IHT relief*

The removal of IHT on AIM shares is creating some great buying opportunities for quality, high growth AIM companies. Warpaint at £5-5.50 is a bargain if the growth trajectory it's on is maintained. Given the recent updates, I think £7 is fair value but let's see

What a fabulous company BMY is. Consistently growing EPS every year. Funding bolt on acquisitions organically. Not overly expensive. Moved to FTSE250 and I suspect will become an acquisition target for one of the big global publishing houses soon. A real quality UK listed growth share. The revised, upgraded guidance looks too low (again) and so I just can't see this train slowing down.

The ASX listing is surely going to bring more pain for us peasant retail investors... I'm assuming another 20% discount for the ASX raise? Realistically, there is no scenario where existing shareholders don't get shafted... except for Regal of course (who'll be taking even cheaper shares on the ASX). The only hope is that the company is not lying about the supposedly very strong demand from AUS investors (in which case there should be no discount). Turning into a proper lifestyle company for the CTL Board... pick up salaries, no real Board shareholding/investment, running the show for the main shareholder.

I should really just sell up rather than moan!

£15m market cap now! Not really sure this should be listed on AIM let alone ASX. I suspect the CFOs best pal Regal will take this private. Classic shoddy financial planning - the company is now reliant on regular emergency funding. What a shame but feels like end game here

Wowser - more incompetent management. Emergency raise to keep the lights on and ASX raise now canned. A 101 in how to destroy shareholder value. We had AUD20m of ASX investment at a much higher price - now out the window! I'll be selling up first thing tomorrow.

Hi gents. I could be wrong but I think they only mentioned resolving the ASX queries in the next 14 days. They also implied that a revised prospectus would need to be published, so I think more like beginning November for listing date.

I asked a question about funding and the response was that Regal would put money in on AIM if the ASX listing was not possible. So, its all looking rosy. 2025 should be a really exciting year for the company. I've only built a 40% position. Need a couple more paychecks to get to 100%.

It takes a special kind of person to go down with the sinking ship... Clear as day, this is going down. The fundraising is not enough to stop the rot in my honest opinion. Fast forward 12 months and then suddenly you're in the same terrible cash position as before. Loss making companies with less than 12 months cash burn are basically forced by auditors to raise money. With high interest rates, the market for funding hope-hype, speculative loss makers isn;t going to suddenly improve. Worst of all is the death spiral bond that's in play - absolutely dreadful for equity holders. All AVACTA is now is a punters stock. Total garbage. Even the prophet pied piper McPumpy has moved on

Short to 40 pence. Buy at 39 pence (2022 low) and sell at 48 pence. Easy 20% gain. Shorting may not be possible but why anyone would buy until the technical support at 39 pence is hit is a mystery.

Myles McPumpy has gone awfully quiet on AVCT. Presume he’s totally out now.
