No one is really shorting this. SP hammer blow has been from institutions selling. This will reverse quickly once others fill the gap.

But I ordered some stuff from Boohoo today and it's a fantastically easy to use website/service and the products are such great value. Big sale on at the moment and 1.99 delivery deal - let's see if the nation boycotts Boohoo or money speaks! I'm emptahtically gunning for the latter.

This is the ultimate gift from the gods.... if you can stomach short term downside and take a long term investment view - not day trading - far too hard too call that correctly.

@basherbaz - Boohoo's business model isn't to pay £3.50! Hahaha - this will have little effect on its margins. The risk here is customer boycott - can't see the justification for a 2 billion plus fall at all.

This savaging is bittersweet - Painful but also glorious opportunity to average down. Over 2 billion wiped off market cap - absolutely ridiculous!

Today has been great. So many people will have been waiting to get in on Boohoo and the massive overreaction and panic selling is like Christmas day for many! The SP has been moving like the company is some sort of fraud. Absolute nonsense! This is an isolated supplier issue, with some group cultural/operational errors. Sure, it will have serious negative implications for the company BUT ABSOLUTELY no where near to the value of the falls we have seen this week. Sometimes people need to step back, breath and really think about the bigger picture!

Boohoo will clearly sort this mess out and the financial fall out will be far less than the market cap falls this week. The biggest risk is consumer attitudes to this resulting in lower sales but i'm skeptical about that. Don't forget the high street is dead and online shopping is the future. I will be watching this closely to enter at a nice discounted price. GLA long or short

You should sell now if you think this will fall through due to a shareholders' rebellion. No chance of that, large shareholders will have been wall-crossed on this. No point in selling now - only change to current share price is to the upside, either by getting the sale price, or by a rival bid emerging (unlikely but possible).
