I can't see any voting or corporate actions available for COPL on the iWeb site. It shares the same Halifax base system I think.

Is there some nonsense rule that if you are invested in a company then you have to only ramp and see the world through fake rose tinted glasses? No there is not. People that are really invested like to discuss, bust myths and have a damn good moan sometimes about the state of the company they have invested (when it is doing poorly like COPL).

Only someone with an agenda to pump the share would only post positive stuff when the situation is clearly NOT positive (for now).

So saying that anyone that posts their real thoughts is "not invested" is a false flag. It is more likely that the rampers are the ones not invested and are being paid to pump.

I think most of us agree prophetus! It is just the gullible as you name them that are hoping against hope that the JV is really coming. The same people (including my idiot self) that waited years on Nigerian licences hoping against hope. All they got was dilution and loss of investment .

Also: Anyone upticking Adnausuam's post needs to take a good long look in the mirror and perhaps think before agreeing with utter nonsense posts. Rampers are ultimately self serving con merchants and need to be called out.

Agreed. And Art has been playing for time for a very very very long time! And getting away with it. Placing after placing, followed by a consolidation followed by placing after placing (or bond issue with is EXACTLY the same thing).

We all need to be extremely cautious. The market obviously is by looking at the SP!!!

That being said, as a LTH I really do hope the JV lands soon and that we are not sat on a billion barrels of unextractable oil which is my fear. Again all is not lost IF we concentrate on upping production on the existing wells.

I think we need to concentrate on the existing asset and not pie in the sky jam tomorrow JVs and billion barrels of oil.

No one is saying there is no JV what people are questioning is how realistic landing the JV is and the timescales. We are all very well versed in Art and the endless nonsense about the Nigerian licences so people have a VERY strong basis for being sceptical.

And to answer your main point - Art would not get into any trouble if it all come to nothing. There would be zero that market regulators or anyone could do about it. Art would just say rightfully that negotiations failed.

For the record I am £10k invested and have been for very many years. Like most LTHs we have very good reasons for being on the pessimistic side!
