I see Art can't but help dangle the carrot of a JV still .... but the main take away is that production is increasing. However will it remain at the same levels during the winter? Have they done enough to mitigate against the cold weather or are we just going drop down again this winter (in less than 5 months)?

The reason why Paris has over taken London is due to one thing only - BREXIT.

I have not read the TRANScript of the COPL meeting though. Did Art say the JV was nearing completion or did he just sidestep the questions on that a give vague meaningless statements? The latter I think.

I love that everyone was so excited about a bloke we know nothing about telling us he had a conversation with Art....it is great we get to hear about the difficulties and complexities from a complete stranger (if believed that is) rather than the actual company itself.

If the JV was complex and difficult then that is absolutely fine to discuss openly by the CEO and we would all respect him a lot more for being truthful. However discussing these things with a complete stranger who then relays it to the investors is VERY FAR FROM OK. - If we believe it that is.

So it is great that yet again some of our long and more elderly investors like bob feel better after reading the posts about the JV still being on, but what is not great is that Art himself can't discuss this with us directly (not breaking any rules to discuss complexity and would not damage SP anymore than leaving a vacuum of news).

Anyway believe what you will. I do not personally believe a word of it and stand by that there will be no JV with any major oil company.

I really hope I am wrong but it is increasingly looking like the JV was yet another smoke screen. Anyway aggressively attacking any LTHs in this share for doubting the existence of a JV is either in denial, the truth hurts to much to face it and therefore they are lashing out OR they are part of a failed pumping squad.
