Bang on Brel. They never, ever give a plausible reason why they post ramps endlessly - and we are taking literally thousands of ramping posts over years between them - and always overly positive on a share they clearly are not invested in. And then they claim to be invested. One of them used the ‘MM games’ old chestnut yesterday - There is simply no other explanation other than we have a boiler room ramping group set up on this company.

There is zero possibility of removing Art.

What is concerning is the cost of those salaries compared to how much profit the company is making selling the actual oil. The sums do not add up. If you factor in the multi millions of pounds that would be required to get any of the billion barrels then things really do not add up at all.

We would need to raise those millions through dilution so yes duster it does make sense that the consolidation is all about the ability to fund raise through placings.

Thing is Art has been doing this for at least 6 years (that i am aware of) and has gotten away with it. The company is still afloat and he still gets half a million a year plus remuneration so it is win win for him!

If you take the letters from "Brel" and times them by x=z+t then you get Arthur!

Well I for one get a lot of pleasure from this LSE forum in particular. It is an endless source of fun and something to look at when I should be working. So many thanks to the regular posters, rampers and shorters alike.

COPL could be a real winner but it is mostly likely not.

Yesterdays RNS was spot on stuff, showing incremental improvements to our ability to extract oil.

All talk of getting any of the billion barrels of oil through a JV is just pie in the sky. Think about what it would actually require to get that over the line in terms of money and time. It would be millions and take a VERY long time to get all that "plumbing" in place.

The eternal and vital point of "is it economical to extract the oil" is key. If it were economical then JV partners would be jumping up and down at the opportunity to get involved. They are not. I have lost track of when Art first claimed he had a very interested partner on board.

Is there any way we can stop this spammer? Whilst it is nice to see positive slants on stuff, most of what Earl is writing here is self serving nonsense.

Slow but surely we are turning into a potential company with fake licences in Nigeria into a real oil producer with real assets. We just need to put to bed the noise and concentrate on the real assets here.

@Tonlin - Trolling people claiming that they do not hold shares because they dared criticise a company they are invested in is not really acceptable.

Stats20 and many other LTHs are very right to be skeptical about the goings on in this company. If you are NOT concerned then you be a few planks short of a wall. Anyone in their right mind would question the never ending JV "negotiations", the consolidation, the constant placings, the mistruths.

Anyone with half a brain would be double checking everything Art says and only an utter fool that likes to fall into the same hole time and time and time after again would not be skeptical about anything COPL.

That said as a very LTH I do hope we get things sorted.
