This simply needs an explanation towards cap-xx investors (I even wonder if this isn’t legally a must..), since on the same page this is mentioned:

we made a strategic decision to license leading-edge supercapacitor technology from CAP-XX Limited Cap-XX, an Australia-based firm.

More and more the feeling that this is a company which is totally researcher driven with no business sense at all. Im sure the institutional investors will take lead within a few months if the current bod’s do not deliver.

Still holding strong due to the big partners they are working with and my expectations regarding supercaps.

Marketmover, I just sent an email to Cap-XX with a similar kind of content:

Dear mrs/mr,

As a long term investor (close to x mln shares), I’m getting deeply worried about the slipping shareprice since about 1.5 years.

Based on the discussions on the public LSE forum, the major concern is the lack of communication of Cap-XX. Please take a serious look to this and improve asap since otherwise the long term private investors will shake out more and more and the control of the company comes in institutional investors hands.

Would also be great to get some kind of feedback that your received and read this email. Untill now I never received any reply on my previous mails which is not very polite.

Cornish, thanks for sharing. I was not aware of this 7 year old communication. It looks like they are very good @elevator pitching on opportunities but not on drawbacks. Did we somehow have any updates on truckstart lately ?

My worries are rising. Still keeping strong because of the massive potential uplift but the ice is getting thin...

I hope there are some very good reasons for this lack of communication, this is simply asking a lot from long term investors...

6 Would be nice to have insights in the total cost of ownership over 25 years (including disposal) for batteries compared to supercaps.

Tony/PC01, maybe this is a good entry question to AK, he is an engineer from background and for sure likes these kind of ideas.

Fax, I like the idea about storage, not so sure about the viability on boat transport.

I think the future should be local and small scale energy generation and not transporting it around the globe.
1 Since the availabilty of oil and gass on only limited locations/suppliers and caused many conflicts in the past. We should learn from that and prevent it.
2 transporting is also costing energy.
3 The technology for local generation is there.

Good question, nice thoughts... Supercaps instead of batteries for offgrid solar.

1 it is a static application so volume (energy/m3) is less critical. (Different than cars)
2 it is short time storage: storage doesnt need to last forever. (Lets say 1-2 weeks in case of bad weather)
3 longer lifetime than batteries.
4 can charge and discharge (peak power for dishwashers etc) without problems
5 In case of high volumes, how do supercaps relate to batteries wrt production costs ?) if anyone knows, please share...

James, maybe you could ask him what his vision is on where cap-xx should stand in 2 and 5 years from know. Which products, company type and expected turnover. Second question would be: what is their plan to achieve this. Third question: what is happening with Murata, are they still close friends or is the partnership a dead end street ? Good luck !

Just took a look to the references of Skeleton. Not very impressed. Esa isnt mentioning them specific. Adgero looks to me like an R&D firm... for sure not having licenses like Murata, Avx (kyocera !), TDK.

Also not appears to me no to be present in a real application like spirehealth or sold by mouser etc...

And what I really dislike that on every page they show their CEO. Clearly an R&D driven company.

In short, I think the PR of cap-xx could be better, but business wise in a far better shape. Aimho...

Another one to start the day: WHY did TDK recently decide to license Cap-xx and not Skeleton ? Questions, questions, questions..

After readng some articles from Skeleton, I learned that they focus on combining the supercapacitor in a battery to have one plug and play power supply unit instead of designing in a supercap for each and every application. Makes sense and for sure enables steeper ramping up.

But.... that’s wat cap-xx is doing with their 3volt version and I’m pretty sure where Murata is silently working on....

Suppose you live in the us or the eu and the pound comes in free fall... you will get far less usd or euros for the same pound. So you will loose money in the country you are living. Thats why foreign investors will avoid UK during this uncertain period... aimho. Still keeping strong and have many years of time to wait.

TT, I'm living outside UK and I'm somewhat concerned about what will happen to the exchange rate of the euro to the gbp. Im sure I'm not the only foreigner who invested in cap-xx and this is a 2nd risk besides a bad communication of the bod. Has for sure influence on the shareprice. Btw. Still keeping strong and waiting.

Two years would be great for not charging an electronics device. Massive design ins must be happening right now. This is a clear waiting game..

A question to the spire health tag early adaptors,: are your batteries still working ? Mines are but I would like to know if they will survive the 1 year + of battery life... or that we face early failures...
