The P/E ratio is indeed a point for discussion. This was only a prediction for this year and I see them as an innovative R&D firm which just started to do manufacturing. Therefore the factor 15 (this might be too conservative). This is for me underwritten due to the high margins they make on their products. This market is still far away from consolidation.

On the longer term, this P/E factor will naturally drop but then the sales will also be factors higher. Like said it doubled in one year and to my opinion this is only the beginning of the hockeystick.

Revenue for the year ending 30 June 2020 is expected A$3.7m and a loss of 2mln.
Covid has impacted revenue
Order book is twice of last year
Murata line will be started

My projection for coming year:
Without covid: 4 mln
Double orders: 8 mln
Murata: educated guess is 4mln x 0.75= 3 mln (Still under starup)

Total revenue of 11 mln compared to 3.7mln and a loss of 2mln

This should result in a profit of roughly 4-5 mln in gbp 2-2.5 mln

With 400mln outstanding shares and p/e of 15, I end op with a shareprice of 10p.

This is based on current knowledge and in since the order book doubled in one year, what will happen in the upcoming year ?

Like several already mentioned here, put it on the shelf for at least 3 years.

Tony, Nice article and pretty recent. Besides car fob, a lot of different applications are mentioned. Was an eye opener for me personally.

I found this one, last looks that Tesla bought Maxwell for their battery ip and not the supercaps. Also mentioned that supercaps will become obsolete for car batteries.

This is only the current market. Iot and energy harvesting, lorawan will explode the usage in the coming years. So I think that’s where Murata is aiming on... And Cap-xx is here simply in the middle of the big players. No doubt that this will take off soon.

Then we have the automotive batteries wereas supercapacitors are regular mentioned. Here it is important to understand the situation with the lawsuit of maxwell. WHO HAS INSIGHTS ON THIS PLEASE SHARE !!! This is a very important topic regarding Tesla and automotive in general.

Pp1, I’m also looking forward to the postponed battery day of Tesla. But I think supercapacitors are not yet announced. First step is batteries with a better density of the cells. The supercaps will later be added as separate component and after this they will be integrated in the battery (this is where I’m still hoping this is already done in the Murata high drain cr cells). Only thinking outloud

W2L8, this is for sure an lcd display. You are right.

Way2l8. 99% sure it is e-ink like used in Kindle. I know the full color E-ink displays are technical possible (Amazon for example Is 100% owner of liquavista which was pretty far in full colour). In the text e-ink is mentioned and like you mentioned, e-ink has a far lower power consumption than lcd or o-led. The only thing is that it is too slow for moving scenes. It is not that I want to know better but I have worked in the R&D of display technologies for many years.

Could be mobile phones ) but i think it isa referring to LoraWAN. This is a telecommunationnetwork for long distancecommunication with minimal power. Ideally using supercaps for energy harvesting. In the nodes. Maybe good to view the company ethertronics which is part of avx

About the risk assesment, if this scenario was considered and it was your company, would you have then acted in a different way ? I still think you tried to come to an agreement first and then go to court. I do not see a different option. Doing nothing would not be helpfull.

What I keep thinking is this guy in US which relative silent moved from Ioxus to Cap-xx whilst the Ioxus recall impact became clear, I’m pretty sure we do not know all what is happening in the background.
