Why was this question not asked when it was falling like a knive for last months ?
I could not read today’s update since making it public is only in Feb 24. It seems that you can read it but need access… is today’s and yesterday’s buyer maybe having this access ?
The share previously went to 18p, but this was based on the potential. Could actually have been worked in case the applications were there in the same time. But the timing was slightly too early. This is why we ended up here today.
However, if the shareprice will be rising due to real sales and license incomes, the share will fly and since there is substance behind it, it will rise significant and we will laugh @10p….
Ilovesushi, as you might know did we join up with some private investors and are jointly owning 12% off all shares. These are all long time holders that believe in the technology. No one from them will accept a 5p offer. They will then sell with a loss since they most have an average far above this. No chance.
Few weeks ago… With supercap:
https://www.pv-magazine.com/2023/10/19/organic-pv-developer-unveils-kit-to-develop-new-indoor-battery-free-applications/
1 target price 7p
2 with the turnaround showing first green shoots, and potentially upside from ip infringement, they believe that the future is looking increasingly positive.
So now it is not anymore the counterclaim itself but the “fact” that this will result in additional costs which can’t be handelde by cap-XX ?
1 once cap-xx wins in december, do you really think that then no money will flow from Maxwell to Cap-XX ? I did not mention the AVX case.
2 winning 3 lawsuits and a similar counterclaim would make sense.
3 Sales are dropping ? Are you sure with the extended sales team ?
4 more operational costs ? There was a one Time mln for AK leaving and the new sales guys are working based on a provision basis.
No I really do not get it. Let’s see if you are still on this board after December.
Mucker
The Tesla counterclaim. Did you really investigate what this exactly is and based on what facts ? Please educate us once you have done that.
You are connecting the dot that in case the big Tesla starts a lawsuit that they are always right and will win. I hope you are aware that making a counterclaim is always possible, even it is baseless ?
Sorry, but I do not buy your theories.
Mucker,
It is very normal for new business development that for each phase in maturity, a different mgt profile needed. Kongats did a great job to bring the company to the level it is currently: great products, great ip and production capacity. The only thing lacking is sales. Which is now clearly addressed.
Kongats did not leave from himself. There were costs involved so this is not voluntary. Moreover, he is still believing in the company since he is still holding the shares.
Please start doing some real investigations and then connect the dots.
Makemine excellent post. Clearly connecting the dots based on facts and public info.
Mucker, let me also join some dots:
1 two lawsuits against US supercap companies with the same judge have been decided in favor of Cap-XX. What will be the next dot ?
2 Ioxus, CDE and AVX have a license agreement.. what will be the next dot ?
3 the company is having design ins in Iot, energy harvesting, 5G, medical, sensors and which other dots ??
4 the company is not short on cash and will receive another gorverwnt funding of several millions on short notice… another dot..
5 AVX is interpreting the license agreement different than CAP-XX. Therefore lower royalties have been paid. The next dot is that AVX will loose and has to pay also the royalties they did not pay in the past..
6 Continental is a tier 1 automotive supplier… which is not Tesla only.. draw the dots in case they are going to use cap-XX in the key fob’s and other applications… the next dot will be a call to Tesla with the message that Continental has some supply chain issues with Tesla parts…
7 the production lines have free capacity and they built up stock. Guess what will happen with all this eager salespeople which are now getting onboard…
Draw the dots…
Marine edge is located in Israel, some chance that they will be on low staffing currently.
My reply was meant for Iloveshushi. Townspj, I think 25p is not ramping.
Don’t forget about the 2mln government funding and the underpayment of AVX.
Fully agree on your thinking. Do not forget all the IOT businesses and the potentials there. Also there is Continental which can become very big.
To my opinion selling below 10p per share would be ridiculous and this is only for the short term 1-2 years)
Hi Wobble,
Maybe you can do the same to Openspaces.
I’m pretty sure he is invested.
OS can write things we as investors do not want to read, however after I think two years or so on this board he was often right in the end.
OS still hoping that you will be wrong in the near future ;-)
The remark of the lower product performance of Skeleton shows clearly the weak point of Cap-xx: looking to the growth of this company they simply did their marketing and sales more aggressive and show that the current direction is the right one.
The communication is more open. They even start with all negative points. Normally the hamburger method is used: good things-bad things-good things.
The only thing which is bothering me is that they should keep focus. A lot of different fields are currently handled for such small company:
- 3 lawsuits ongoing
- different target markets: IOT/medical/automotive: they all need different approaches.
- many new products: 3V, SMD, licensing of higher capacity products.
-expanding sales channels
Many opportunities and if one drops it will put the company in another position. This is not if, but when.
Thanks ! The name Ferrari is a bit misleading. Seems to be a relative small company. But you never know.
Do you have a link ? Can’t find this Ferrari- Cap-XX collaboration
