I discussed the Continental announcement today during lunch with some colleges (Working for an OEM automotive lighting company in Germany) and they all agreed that getting onboard @Continental is a huge thing. Also the speed of PPAP is passed is seen as impressive. Thought it was good to share this.

Good to read since PPAP and PSW is really the last stage to have the product released for mass production.

Continental quality has given formal GREEN light that the products are released for ordering in mass production. Now supply chain can start ordering the parts according the forecasted demand plan and likely the safety stock built up.

Jeffrey, PPAP approval is an important milestone in automotive and actually the final step before start of production @Continental side. The question IF it will happen hast today been answerred. WHEN the sales will take place is also pretty narrowed: 0-6 months from now.

For sure Continental will not allow CAP-XX to mention volumes.

This is an important step and excellent news.

And yes, in automotive it normally starts with one platform and after this hurdle, many will follow and a platform normally is 5 years. Very nice.

Just checked with our automotive project manager and I think you are right that the production @CAP-XX should start on short notice to fill up the stocks.

I was going through the Maxwell case and until now I only found that Maxwell is achieving to delay things but all crucial decisions are in favor of Cap-XX. Is this right or wrong ?

In the end you might be right that everything is manipulated and that all effort was waste but most of us can't simply accept that such a good product with so many opportunities is not brought to a success due to bad management/wrong strategic choices. As long as we are able to bring in our insights, broad experiences to the BOD's and challenge them to take the right decisions, we think it is worth the effort.

I believe making these resolutions public before cap-xx has received them is not a proper way to achieve the best results in the end.

I know a lot of you are already teaming up in this group but I also would like to let the rest on this board know that we are on the background hard working to organize an EGM with some resolutions.

To organize this, we need 10% of the outstanding shares and we are on the moment on 8.5% of the shares to enforce this. Some of the members did not respond yet and this should be enough to reach this.
