As an exposure strategy I like Thursday. Two days to rise into the mandatory Friday afternoon sell off. The whole weekend for diligence researchers to pick up the story for a sustainable rise the following week. Tea and medals by the following Thursday.

It will be a start. Looking through the "Good news" RNS history Tuesday is the day with 62% hit Wednesday with 25% and Monday 8%. Thursday and Friday. Tomorrow??

Last week I bought a small amount. I have a new client wanting some but fortunately she's a UK resident so my life will be easy for once. She will be buying this week then a much bigger stake in her ISA. I suspect that the new tax year will bring fresh money and plenty of bed and ISA. We are so close now even Cambridge will be a buyer...

I believe that they are switched on now because the opportunity is now. Previously it was all future now it will ramp up fast in Chinese mass deployment. The US and Europe are moving very differently and establishing the method well in advance. China have started and are still evolving. China will be catching up from the front.

I would imagine that it's Brians work. I don't think that any aspect of it is contentious.
I am aware that Ethernity has filled some of its key roles as they prepare for mass deployment.
The beauty of the DU solution is that although it is work now really it is largely rinse and repeat after. Yes some service providers and indeed server manufacturers will want revisions and specific functionality. Once done it will result in thousands of units with no extra input.

Written in January 2021 nearly two months ago. Indeed we know that service providers in the US and Europe have directed their server OEMs to work with Ethernity to provide a market ready solution.
The addition of layer 3 routing and forwarding can be attached to other parts of the process to not only add value but to drastically streamline the process removing the need for a separate forwarding unit at each stage.
We have to consider that the service providers must be of significant size to tell a server OEM to do anything. The Server OEM must be of significant size to have a dedicated DU server ambition. Really it limits us to the Top 5 Service Providers and 3 of the Top 5 Server OEMs. This is a billion dollar market opportunity and Ethernity could very well receive a royalty on each unit.
What of the competition. I am told that the patented way Ethernity packet and process would make this very troublesome to replicate.
Ethernity are working independently with 3 major server OEMs to make a solution with each to address totally their market need.
I thought that Ethernity would settle with one but I am told that will not be the case and all three are anticipated.
Whilst development may take 6+ months both sides will want to contract early in my opinion.

It has some plus and many minus that you don't consider until you live it. Israel long term will relax quicker than the Eastern Med where I normally hangout. I should actually be in Italy now, they start a shutdown on Monday.
Being in Israel is not about Ethernity, I just love the place.

I plan to be here all summer. I have wasted 6 weeks in quarantine in the last year and I don't want to do that again. After 90 days I will need to go 12 miles out and come back. Crazy.

It's important to understand that the competition are very fragmented and there is no real specific head to head competition. There are many with various SmartNIC that can be competitive with Ethernity if a intelligence provider picks it up and builds on it. So far I can see little appetite for that but as opportunity looms that will happen. Ethernity are in a niche. Actually a substantial niche for a microcap. I believe that Ethernity will be largely left alone here.
Others have had markets in 4G evolved and early stages of 5G. Ethernity market is really just starting now. The others are already very much occupied in their own fields.

China and India will be the focus now for UPF construction and performance. Europe and the US for the structural development of the network.
I believe that the DU will move in the US and Europe and may be adopted in India. I believe that Ethernity will win very big in the DU. Others will copy and try to put the Router on the NIC. However the patents Ethernity has about how info packets are processed will make it difficult. Also they will have to change their thinking.
DU server market starts this year and will grow quickly. We'll see deals soon, well before the products are ready.

01234 It's not one singular step. Open is about doing this at every stage. You remember for the last two years me saying that 5G will have many winners and no solution takes all. That will definitely be the case. The process is fractured into segments and the best at each stage will win. The ASICs vendors have to go open or they will be sidelined completely. If not now at the first evolutionary upgrade when service providers are asked to pay again for the initial investment.
However it is not as simple as the best widget winning and all the other same widgets losing. Widgets have very different associations and evolutionary trajectories. Different sales methods.
Ethernity are focused on OEMs and integrators selling ACEnic-100 based products others are trying to do this themselves or in alliance. Ethernity has in my opinion to just sit back, spend nothing and wait for the revenue to come. Others have a mountain to climb.

Super time to buy right now. The tide is out and the share is laid bare absolutely at ground zero price.
I expect news any day now and once out the rise will be rapid.

As far as I am aware Israel residents cannot buy Ethernity. Even using a "proper" you still need an account and your tax status is the issue.
I have Greek residency and I have a choice of two brokers who service the AIM. Both are terrible, no live price, no on demand trading.

Uk online investment vehicles like Interactive Investor, IG, HL etc are only available to UK residents. Outside the UK you have to use vehicles like Interactive Brokers. There is no immediate quote. When I hit Buy it does not trade immediately. It gets entered into the next auction. In auction the full spread is usually applied. Also often I only get 20-50% of the shares I ask for.
How with IB and others some regions are excluded. Iran North Korea and Israel. So Israeli residents cannot buy shares on the AIM.

Foreign investor pays full price again.
Residents of Israel cannot even access this lousy service. I wonder how many Israeli investors would be buyers. Certainly the tech sector here has a Ethernity buzz.

The trend is up. The passage classically has a one third retreat before moving back to the trend.
This is a perfectly normal pattern in a rerating share that's news driven.

Yep the positions are set. The MMs are in near agreement. 31/34. Holding pattern until news. They know what is coming and know it is pointless investing any effort at the moment.
My buy at 34p didn't fill again in auction, the MMs are switched off at the moment.

Two non 5G contracts are out there somewhere. 5G testing Lab and Field underway. Ethernity has won through ahead of the others on the lab trials so far. Field trials are not a competition and simply to determine the best deployment scenarios. Field trials lead always to identification of modification opportunities.
Just a matter of time before this heads up again. A "continuation" update and we'll be through 50p.

My trade didn't complete after two weeks of being a live order. I have reset for open tomorrow morning. If it doesn't go through I'll give up and go for a nice meal instead.

My tiny buy back in auction see if it fills at 34p. I had forgotten about this but it could have been in auction for the last two weeks.
