Nearly a year on from a prominent Chinese OEM decision to port Ethernity's software and firmware onto its own FPGA-based NIC offering for the Chinese market. Using the router-on-FPGA opportunity to leverage their product. After one year the market for this product has arrived. China is approaching mass deployment through 660k installed Radio locations. These radio locations can no longer exist as isolated network nodes and need to be effectively clustered to reduce latency, cut cost and improve performance.
The Ethernity solution has multiple routes to market and has engaged the big 3 Telecom from a early stage.
Ethernity will win market share through Integrators, direct Telecom adoption, third party sales, direct sales (Techtronics) and partnership (Fiberhome and TietoEVRY)
All of these routes to market are viable still so close to mass deployment and Private Network creation.
