I think that it was a very convenient arrangement for both sides. Given that Tarana needs Ethernity funded to finance production ramp up of their product or risk holding up the Tarana Express.
The significance of the news has been missed by the market but I am not surprised. It went from simple supply information in December to linking for the first time with a product in the market. A revolutionary product with clients (service providers) engaged from the trials ordering immediately in substantial numbers. Backers Deutsche Telekom and AT&T it's easy to see who the immediate clients are. Resellers engaged globally so we can expect sales on all continents. I believe that orders will flow in and we'll see very large numbers generated.
Yes this is not 5G but it is very significant as a side play and capable of underwriting the current share price alone.

Yes but we have to assume that the cheap £107000 worth were all sold or at least enough were so when the more expensive shares were triggered they did not trip above 3%. I believe that they have shares over 30p

It ultimately doesn't matter if it is Tarana as they don't seem at all focused on driving the price down to trigger more shares. My thoughts are more really about what they know, obviously they would know about their own transactions pending. However we don't know when Tarana placed these orders. Early Q3 looks tight to commission commercial manufacturing. I suspect that Ethernity will outsource to India. Tarana are also in India.

Ethernity were paid nothing for the work done with Tarana it was on a equal investment footing and I assume that they have a modestly improved unit price. I believe strongly that Tarana are behind 5G fund. It certainly risked the whole Tarana project to lose Ethernity now. I don't think that there is any risk to Ethernity now as they have support from sales that more than cover running costs. I am happy to wait and will buy more sub 40p.

It would be nice to know what 5000 units over 12 months represents. In December they reported a $500000 expectation in 2021 with the vast majority in H2. Now we have $400000 in H1 into early H2. Given the ramp up talked of at Tarana and the efforts for global deployment I believe that this will double every 4 months for at least a year as contracts go from nothing to something at multiple locations with resellers. After one year 10%+ growth each month for several years is not too much to assume.
So 2021 $500000 to $1.5m. 2022 $1m to $4m. These seem very modest figures and very achievable if Tarana are going to satisfy their investors like AT&T.

Incidentally the field trials are with all three major Telecom in China. There are more than 12 trials Involving Ethernity with other contributors in the eco. They could last for one year but are expected to be concluded early in Q3. The trials are standalone networks in a variety of settings and climates. I am not expecting to hear much this early. Apparently the Chinese media are talking about 5G trials but I can find nothing. China has a lot of 5G mobile Telecom contracts, millions of users and 5G are like speeds can't be maintained as data thresholds are reached.

Costs may be £300000 a month but income from recurring revenue accounts for a good hunk of that and in H2 will offset that. Costs include the investment made by Ethernity in the Tarana solution and development work in field trials in China.

Ethernity have been massively successful at bringing a wide portfolio of competitive and in several cases leading products to market for extremely low R&D. Tarana has invested 100's millions in their product.
Ethernity has a diverse portfolio and markets are looming now. Once sales come the valuation will change. Proof is in the profit.

Dallo you will see increasing sales but I doubt very much that we'll see any deals with telephone numbers in. Certainly when they announce 10000 units Q4 for Tarana then the ramp up will be obvious.

Quite a story around Tarana wireless. Reading articles from appointed resellers it's clear that expected sales will be in the hundreds of millions which could very well deliver Ethernity sales of a million units. Tarana has completed several funding rounds and has significant resources in the field for sales despite a aggressive recruitment strategy currently.
I believe that we'll see huge revenue here for Ethernity.
This is exactly how 5G will go later this year in China and next year in US and then Europe.

Yes half of the fortune 500 and 12% of US companies are incorporated in Delaware. 9% in Nevada, 6% in Florida and so on. However it does not answer the inside question. Also given the trouble that they have gone to they appear if they are sellers now to be selling at a loss or at best breakeven. Hardly a commercial act.

So Ethernity discuss rapid growth and early funding with 5G fund and funds are released. How are 5G not inside I ask. Simple because they know the information from the other side of this deal. So Tarana fund Ethernity to ensure that they can deliver their product to market and guarantee supply. Penny drops and the name I was given behind 5G is very very close to Alwan.

Indeed it will be. Forget the $400k in a couple of months sales will be strong month on month. Ethernity has a cash cow now. What a shame this didn't happen 12 months earlier. It could have solved the funding woes.
A interesting link is did you know that Tarana were Tarana Delaware. Incorporated in Delaware. The same Delaware 5G fund is registered.

The Avionics switch is used by two avionics OEMs so is extremely successful in its own right. There will definitely be large contracts from defence and ultimately civil aviation moving forwards. Ethernity has plenty to offer beyond 5G but until now it has been a couple of million markets. This has potential for 10's or 100's millions.
Ethernity valuation is pathetic but that's our opportunity. I believe that only actual profit will change it. I am not talking below £1 because that's just ebb and flow. I am talking £1-5-10. Would £30m profit earn any of that.

I can't see any reason why a long term holder would sell on this news so it's a reasonable assumption.
I am not expecting anything on 2020 until results but we should get something of a general update on Q1 in the near term. Maybe this week or next. This is the first time that we have known who our OEM partners are and it is quite impressive. The total fiber market is in the billions globally and here's a simple solution to the complex problem of inconvenient fiber locations.
