Monday is the start of another week. Time for the management to Impress shareholders with some information.

40p gone. Nothing more to be said. Tiny volume wipes a few million off a pathetic market cap. Typical AIM neglect outcome.

Fierce wireless are pushing that. I had an invite but it's really for industry networking. Hopefully Ethernity can generate some new contacts.

My fear for this is that news takes us back to 50-60p and the opportunity will be lost again because they are unable to maintain momentum. They need a strategy and we need to know what it is.

I wouldn't get hung up on 5g. It was far too convenient not to be related to Tarana.
The purpose was to finance Ethernity sufficiently to fulfill their requirements and protect their supply chain. I don't think that they are concerned about the strike price just selling for more than they paid.
They could pass the lot in one week on the right kind of news
Ethernity management do nothing to support 5g but they will know a lot more than I would talk about on this board

They served their purpose and Ethernity are meeting their requirements. In fact Tarana has supply issues with the home receiving unit supply.
We'll hear from Tarana in Q4 as they have 4 deployments starting Q1 so will be increasing their order.

Given multiple OEMs with clients building out networks Ethernity will have production orders flowing and sales flowing. How will they report them.

Without scheduled quarterly updates we should be expecting very frequent news. Up to now no because there was no pressure on the service providers. Now many have contracts signed and they need to be sourcing solutions. Now Ethernity push on open doors. Selling now won't be difficult.
So yes given the model we should never go a month without news. That will probably be that way for 2-3 years.
There's the choice. Quarterly or on the fly.

Silicom and Ethernity have really nothing in common. Ethernity are absolutely flat out with work at the moment. They are about to deliver multiple new products that we know about into an immediate market. Ethernity do not make volume of the same thing they're designing, creating, building and testing new ideas for future products. This is long cycle and now we are at the contract stage.
Deployment will start early in 2022 but provision of equipment is in full flow now.
New equipment (UEP) will be complete in the next 8 weeks. 3 DU solutions with major server vendors Will be ending build and going into test in a few weeks. They need a test environment so a test 5g network. Deployment will need to start early 2022 if it's dish. It's going to take time to build out DU locations and network the DUs even if they use wireless. European Telecom and Service providers are on similar timelines.
Ethernity are changing right now. They're transforming from a client by client model to a mass market model. This means that solutions virtual need to marry with their hardware. They will no longer be designing hardware to the contract at hand. They are now entering the mass market.
DU sales with 3 service providers will be 20000-50000 units at deployment. Scaling up will continue that requirement for several years from those contracts.
UEP. A huge market awaits. We know that Ethernity expect volume sales once the product is complete (within weeks). I believe that testing will be minimal as this is a progression product and performance will be from design. Ethernity has been in this market for a long time with the Avionics switch so has plenty of history of delivery.
I think that it's nonsense to expect the summer to be quiet.

Fairview we have seen it many times on the AIM where multiple contracts are announced. Let's not think that they were signed on the same day. If the deal fell through then they would be telling us immediately. By disclosing the deal and value I don't know if they have satisfied the immediate requirement.

Dallo I am not sure that they have to announce immediately as really they have already announced its existence. The pay is not until 2022 so I think that they could sit on it.

Transformational RNS on the AIM soon run out of steam. How many companies have wrapped contracts together for the market to focus on just one. That's the problem with mandatory updates like Final Results. It's just the headline non shareholders read. Multiple news events is preferable to one.
The market is suspicious and a global update of contract triggers speculation of a corporate event involving inside shareholders.

I guess it depends on how proactive and connected the OEM is that are engaged.
Ethernity are reliant on unnamed partners for delivery. This is the problem for shareholders. Same as the DU solution. Everything apart from Tarana is totally anonymous. How does the market deal with that. I think we have our answer.

Skid the diversity in the portfolio should be producing huge newsflow.

Dallo my doubt is in the capacity of others to maintain their interest without something from the company. I believe that he has sold about a third already.

Fairview I don't think that he is a trader. I know that most of the shares were sub 20p so just taking a profit and moving on. The reason given was that 5G IF will hold the price back. I can see that happening.
I guess that they see better maintained listings. Clearly we have a few sellers. I hoped 5G IF were selling big chunks but I can now account for some of the sells.
I think that the story only holds interest for so long in this instant world.

It's a shame as now it will take News to move back to 50p, and so it goes on range bound.
Unfortunately the quality of the exposure of the business is poor. Being reliant on mandatory updates to force them to talk about the business is a really poor indicator.
I have faith in the technology and their grasp of the portfolio but they really are clueless about maintaining a balanced market.
I spoke to a seller today. I think that he wanted me to talk him out of it which I never will. I know he had 425k but has sold several chunks already in odd numbers, just so you can see them.
I am in contact with about 6% of the company, plus mine.
I have no funds for a few weeks so will just sit tight and reassess if there's nothing on Tuesday.
I guess people won't wait forever and will sell before their paper profit goes completely.

Yes agreed. I have made that point to Mark at Ethernity. Long term holders can only make decisions based on information and flow of news.

Unfortunately I don't think that brokers grasp what is about to happen. They certainly won't explain that anyway because it's outside of the norm.
We are about to see a completely new market open. Ethernity are going to grab a big chunk of it and currently they are worth peanuts. Ethernity has very broad solutions addressing all of the technical challenges in the most cost sensitive areas.
Ethernity has many routes to market through OEMs and Integrators waiting for Ethernity to deliver their finished product in DU, UEP and UPF/NIC. Once complete sales will commence and Ethernity expect exponential growth.

It's difficult to explain the investment case without making assumptions and forward looking statements. Ethernity can happily talk about the past but this is all about new opportunities.
The information is there but you have to dig for it.
