It's more like shareholders think they are expecting a lot. It's PI's that have decimated the share price in anticipation. I believe Alberto when he says he is trying to get the best deal for all. Difficult given the share price and the obsession of some that PI's will get shafted.

Discussions ongoing. Shareholders supportive and working on the best deal for all. Sounds much as expected. PRT will be open for business very soon.

The new pictures on the website demonstrate just how advanced the restart is now. Pre-fabricated equipment arriving onsite for installation. EMED is on the cusp of a re-rate supported by physical progress on-site that is adding value every day.

Then somebody bought a million. Plenty of buying today much below the mid price. This share price has been talked down on nonsense speculation and scaremongering. The reality is that a huge mine and concentrate plant is 80% complete in the restart process. Blasting and mining starts next month.

Both looking much stronger. Early signs of recovery in a new quarter. MWA is a wait and see for me as there is more than one element under test right now. We need commercial success and commodity strength together.

The price chart is a small part of the equation. The projected supply and demand is where the clues are. The pressure to secure supply is very real. That is why the 3 largest investors are here. The chart is merely a reflection of the $ strength. Copper in every other currency is not cheap. Emed will be paying the bulk of their costs in the weak €uro. Emed look very well placed to be under budget substantially on construction and all materials and labour sourced within Europe.

The buy took me over 1.5 million shares. I am expecting news of the finance package late next week. Looking at the new presentation the construction work onsite is something like 80% complete now. An update in the form of an RNS that they are ahead of schedule and 50 m plus under budget will attract attention. Shares bought now are a real bargain.

Amazed I could buy at 3.79p today. Crazy price.

The Copper update is probably due in the next couple of weeks. The numbers in Zimbabwe are so sensitive to volume that any production issues cause the whole quarter to suffer. The impact of the upgrade and equipment replacement programme has been larger than anticipated by the company and has taken longer as these things always seem to do. It is complete now and the new equipment will massively reduce down time and cut operating costs. The Nickel and the gold can both make good profit even at the current metal prices once they sort the volumes out and bigger numbers will produce more profit. The smelter will be transformational for the Nickel and we will hear next week of the successful completion of the bond. In the meantime this share price is too low and will rise.

Not connected just exchange e mails from time to time with the company and have a very close friend in Zimbabwe; in fact in Bindura currently but not working with Mwana. It is not a huge place and many people work at FR and BNC which are very close together. Mwana are the main employer in the region. The management are working hard to make this happen. A British Institution would be unable to buy many I suspect; Mwana are avoiding dilution in BIND.ZW and MWA hence the bond. MWA have achieved production on very little investment using plenty of bush engineering. That is fine up to a point but reliability and modern efficiency has to be achieved to get the strong margins the shareholders are looking for. As it happens the work at FR and BNC coincided with poor commodity values and poor grades and the whole thing looks horrible. That said getting back to full production and beyond will be achieved rapidly and the share price will respond to the additional profit. Tie that in with rising values and rising performance and things can move very quickly

manipulation really I have not seen any manipulation just buying and selling in tiny volume. Do you have an example. How about today

Mwana is a gamble on the bond right now. The company are very cool about the bond and fully expect the deal to complete as planned. The facts of the matter may be rather different and we will know all about that next week when the subscribers are notified. The funds are already spent on the restart equipment and construction work so this bond needs to complete. Also short term will be some results from the drilling campaign at Katanga. If the results are good or better then there is value added for nothing as the substantial campaign is fully funded. In the mid term we need to see an improved technical performance; more volume through the mills and much lower all in costs. At the same time we need to see Nickel and Gold up from the current levels which will give profit but not huge, cannot be ignored profit. We also need to see the successful restart of the smelter and a plan to restart the refinery. MWA is poised for large share price growth but all depends on the short term events in my opinion.

I suspect until they can prove to the market that they can deliver on technical performance the share price will drift. There is no room for a poor performance with the current commodity values and they need to turn it around quick as it's costing money to produce both gold and Nickel. Unfortunately they are only as good as their last quarters performance which was shocking. The bond will be reported next week and I expect the market to like the result but there is plenty to do to make MWA attractive again even at this share price. I believe they can and will get both Nickel and gold costs under control when the new equipment is all installed and up to speed which it is by now. Once costs of that programme are removed (equipment and downtime) it will all look much better. Kalaa has said the new equipment can be pushed much harder; lets just hope they have a good supply of spares as 24 hours a day is the most they can do.

3 months maybe 6 so I suspect they will combine the disposals whilst that happens to maintain revenue. Restarting a smelter is no small challenge, fortunately there is an income stream whilst it all takes shape.

About $11500 a ton on 2000 tons a quarter on $15000 a ton. The scale is the important factor and third party feed into the Smelter to offset costs. The benefit is not huge at lower Nickel prices but at $20000 ton the costs go to something like $12000 ton. Currently costs would be more like $15000. With the refinery running the costs would be $10000-11000 ton no matter what the Nickel price. The quarter reported today is simply a victim of scale and costs to rehab the machinery.

I think they are slick and certainly not sick. The response to challenge is always rapid and I can see little else they can do right now. The new equipment, the grades, the rains, the carbon its all been sent to try them. I suspect the current quarter will be similar given what we have been told today. The smelter, improvements in grade and new machinery are where the future upside is.

It was a blunder no doubt about that, however when it comes to running a very slick outfit in Zimbabwe they are certainly more successful. They just have to work through the current challenges to easier times. The reasons and actions are all in the PDF version of the RNS on the website. I guess it is a take it or leave it situation.

It may drift who knows really. However the gold and Nickel is there just the same. They have mined and produced economically very recently and will do again. There were clear developments required physically with equipment which has caused issues and growing pains largely as a consequence of the shoe string restart. The smelter is coming together and the refurbishment on site is largely completed. There are good reasons for the drop in operational performance and Investors need to see beyond those. They may they may not but I will play the dips with everything that I have looking to the day in the near future when they deliver a stronger technical performance without the costs of the refurb and new equipment to bog them down. The smelter is the game changer and if that coincides with a stronger Nickel value as I suspect it will MWA will look very cheap at 5p+. I doubt this will reach the double bottom but if it does I will be happy to take at that level.
