Yes they need some contracts hopefully with capable connected resellers. The important advance will be the lab testing in China. I hope that they don't do many more sideline contracts as they are distractions.
I would like them to concentrate on developing the ACEnic-100 and UEP. The avionics switch is possibly the only other field that they should be looking at right now.

Nokia and Ericsson are the providers most likely to benefit in my opinion. However this is not about one product taking everything. It takes many solutions to form a network. Ethernity through association with TietoEVRY has access to both as regional partners. The name over the door is simply that, they all go shopping for the component solutions and the problems are different everywhere. It may be range, penetration, bandwidth, speed, power, environmental (heat, cold, wind, sand etc). Ethernity products can find their way into any system through third party products and resellers.
When a business builds a solution they will need a product to build it on. Ethernity has a product as simple or complex as required. They can take a complete solution and customise for their requirements. It's ethernity but the name on the box can be anything. In fact the UEP is the only Ethernity branded box I have seen but it is only a board with a fpga and a load of virtual products. Anybody can build a box for that and sell it under license.
With 5G you have to stop thinking about winner takes all, this is a open space and it will be filled by hundreds of solutions from thousands of companies in many different variations. The days of plug and play are over.

I wonder if anyone securing say 100k in the placing at 12p would be selling 100k at 13p to pay for it. If they took the warrants they would actually be paying 18p a share eventually.

No surprise really. The investment case is compelling. The numbers are huge and it is now near term for the action to start. This is no different to a mining company building a mine or a resource producer drilling a production hole. Until it is ready to start producing money flows out, confidence is often knocked and doubts appear. However mass deployment is coming, 5G is coming, edge compute is coming, IoT is coming.
It starts in China where Ethernity are strong. Ethernity will supply ACEnic-100, virtual applications and UEP. They have unique products under patent, router on a nic with L3. Ethernity has the most complete and high performance range using very standard resources interoperable with Xilinx & Intel FPGA. Furthermore Ethernity can boost performance of any fpga and can be configured for multiple scenarios saving huge capex. Huge like 80%. Ethernity are unique in this level of performance.
OK if it's so good why haven't we seen huge sales already. Simply the mass deployment hasn't started, in fact 5G speed and bandwidth in a limited environment like a stadium or shopping mall is easy and on Korea they have had these for a while. However they are not feasible on a mass scale largely due to cost but also due to environmental factors and power availability. Ethernity has part of this solution and mass deployment will start 2021. What is happening now is all the positioning and the acceptance of change. The realisation of what is required and even to some extent thrashing out what performance looks like.
This is not all about 5G though. 5G is merely the opportunity for everything else to run on. The track for the train, the road for the car. The real opportunity is the stuff 5G enables. That's what will keep ethernity going for many years.
The business model? Largely recurring royalty will provide huge income for years ahead. Fees for maintenance, upgrades and reconfiguration will produce huge income. The hardware is minimal it is the virtual "hardware" where near 100% margins are. This product can be sold and cascaded as a download to thousands of devices simultaneously at zero cost to Ethernity.

Personally I think that the structure of the fundraising is quite inventive. They probably have enough funds for 7 months now given the forecast income from royalty and contract sales. So no real point in raising the total amount now at a historic low. The staged warrants at 20 and 30 make it more acceptable to me. If they achieve a 18p average well I bought today at 13p so quite happy. I see no reason why the warrants won't be triggered in the next few weeks. Pre finance focus they were mid 30's and above. The industry has moved on considerably since then. Ethernity has made progress on several fronts since then so revisiting 30-40 should be simple enough. Plenty of buying today to support that view.

There is no difference now to when this was looking very cheap at 40-50p except that the end game is much closer and Ethernity now have a full suite of solutions. Do not be fooled by the chart or the share. The AIM over reacts to extreme, knowing that we have nothing to fear but fear itself.

Haha it's not the Bod saying it. The sector was very murky would it be VHS or Betamax. Will it be virtual. Yes it will be virtual and accelerated by fpga. See the big players rushing to catch up.
The requirements for China just 5G 130000 cards plus many virtual applications which Ethernity have ready to go. That 130000 is not a BoD estimate but a mathematical analysis based on even distribution. Uneven it may double. Then there are many requirements to integrate systems into edge, nodes and 5G. Then there are wearable, autonomous everything. Then there is current 4G systems that Ethernity can squeeze 5G like performance from. Now if ethernity get 1% it will be huge but it is quite realistic to get 20-30% through 3rd parties and bit parts in the rest. At 2000-3000 for a bareboard fpga I don't need to do the maths. It's huge.
Ethernity are engaged with 3 huge providers. Not just in China but India and Africa.
I hear the Bod I do my own research not just on Ethernity but on the sector.

Not 20-30x now but certainly in the future it will be. The AIM was always a terrible measure of value. Nothing to do with quality just responds to macro events. This share is worse because of the liquidity issue. I hope that has now been resolved. The AIM doesn't understand Ethernity, hell most of the shareholders are just getting the picture now. I would expect that £1 a share in a average market would be reasonable right now given the near term realistic upside. Yes the valuation is pathetic but I intend to continue taking advantage of that on the understanding that I have been diluted a bit. My average is low 20's so I am not bothered by 3.25m at 20p and 3.25m at 30p. Yes 12p hurts but I took a few at 13 today will be back for more tomorrow.

Dallo you are joking right. The funding is delivered the price is a product of the time and the previous share price. The business is very strong. Ethernity are in the top of few competitors. The share price will recover very soon now this small placing is done and they will access the warrants funding at 20p and 30p. The challenge is now to turn opportunity into mass deployment. That will result in hundreds of millions income over a couple of years. Of course there is nothing today as nobody is deploying today but it is very near term.
Now stop whining about the placing and look at what the company are actually doing.

Well of course they have a current cash flow problem. They are in a future market so they have nearly zero cash flow. I am struggling to say it any other way, Ethernity market has not started yet. They have several vendors building their product on Ethernity fpga, however until that is done and deployed they have nothing.
The Q4 lab testing is nothing until passed and deployed on mass. I don't think that any buyer of Ethernity tech expects anything else. Clearly they could have raised much more at 12p,I am sure they would have heard the whining in Tel Aviv. So they have split the 13m shares into 3 levels. I can't see any chance that they won't hit the triggers. Will they buy at 10p discount, yes if course. I think that you are stressing over nothing. There is so much headroom in this share that the shares issued today make zero difference, the cash carries them to income.

Purchaser? What type of purchaser. Ethernity are not selling anything directly to anyone for 5G. Just some legacy work. Most won't even know who Ethernity are. Kit is sold on spec and local sales will be through 3rd parties. Often it won't even be Ethernity branded as third parties invest in their own solutions for Ethernity cards which are the best on the market.
