A couple of people have private messaged me about Ethernity and the theme is the same. I thought I will answer here.
Asking how if Nokia or Ericsson win a 5G contract how Ethernity benefit. How do ethernity have opportunities if a Country goes with one network.
True some Countries plan a national network with one provider others are going with Telecom finding a suitable partner often sharing locations. However if you imagine a Motorway Nokia or Ericsson build the road. Companies like Ethernity build the Service Stations, the tolls, the exits and entrances, the lighting, the cleaning, the maintenance, the traffic management and the Policing.
The network (motorway) is vital but it does not really matter who builds it as long as it works. The motorway creates opportunity for other businesses to attach by locating near, in this scenario Ethernity provide a superfast link to the motorway carrying lots of cars for 80% less cost.
When you see headlines about 5G selection or deployment it brings the end game closer.
Now Nokia build the motorway then the Telecoms use the motorway for their business. Maybe a haulage company (carrying data) or a coach company (AR/VR or IoT linking people, places and functions)
Ethernity provides the method for keeping the traffic flowing safely and making sure no section of road has a tailback. Responding to accidents and making everything work together. Saving huge amounts of Capex, power, space and compute.
