will, cath used the skinbiotix palform and produced a cream in the lab in manchester in 2018. skinbiotix is "not" a bacteria or a cream, it is a technology. skinbiotix platform utilizes extracts (lysates) from probiotic bacteria.

SBTX have not engineered any product, Croda have. Croda is using SkinBioTherapeutics' SkinBiotix(TM) technology to produce a lysate. In a nut shell, Croda supply the bacteria, in this instance Lactobacillus rhamnosus GG and use Skinbiotix to extract what they need from the bacteria to produce a lysate.

Your question should be aimed at Croda not SBTX.

SkinBiotix™ Pillar (skincare/cosmetics)

SkinBioTherapeutics has a commercial and manufacturing agreement with Croda's Consumer Care division, Sederma, which is the specialist in bioactive ingredients for the cosmetics industry.

The contract with Sederma was extended in October 2023 to enable Sederma to complete and assess additional studies on SkinBiotix™ to investigate previously unseen beneficial properties, which have the potential to significantly enhance commercial opportunities. Any costs to SkinBioTherapeutics of supplying SkinBiotix™ for the studies continue to be covered by Sederma.

Any material additional benefits identified from the studies could strengthen Sederma's commercial story for SkinBiotix™ further as an active ingredient and it therefore may command a higher price point with future customers amongst Croda's global portfolio of personal care customers.

Post period end, Stuart Ashman and Manprit Randhawa visited the Sederma Paris site and were shown around by the full team. The feedback from the Sederma team was very positive, especially around the time taken for the testing and development procedure of the SkinBiotix technology. The process comprises 38 steps and the time it takes is usually c.7 years; with SkinBiotix, the team have reached the penultimate step before commercialisation in less than 5 years.

Net, none of those are anything to do with us.

Aquae, from what I have been told (not by the company), an NDA is a "legal" document and therefore trumps any material/price sensitive information. If this is correct, there will be no figures or information of any sort in any rns until the NDA restrictions have been lifted. When that will be is anybodies guess.

Dustbin, I think you misunderstand me.

I completely understand why SA acquired the companies to shore things up, it was 100% the right thing to do. We dont need anymore though, as you say breakeven so let's sell our IP, no more dilution!

My criticism isn’t of SA, it is aimed squarely at Croda. He was forced into acquisitions because of Croda non delivery. What we know today points to Croda being a massive success, but that doesnt mean they have been a good partner, that's my criticism.

Elrico, this is not a case of spilt milk, this is a case of multiple missteps which I believe has resulted in massive dilution on two fronts, (i) management having to raise when they expected revenue and they didn’t arrive, (ii) having to go on an acquisition spree because the expected revenues still didn’t arrive.

The mistake I have made is not pulling it sooner, I will keep looking back until I have an answer. You are more than welcome to join me at the AGM.

Just one more point, does anyone know at what point the NDA will cease? Just before the launch, during the launch, after the launch? If it's after, how long will the launch be, a week, a month, three months? Everyone seems to think April is fireworks time, on past events I think there could be yet more disappointment.

We knew most of what we needed to know 5-6 years ago, you can’t defend Croda they have kicked the can and shafted us, fact.

Elric, 100% agree that is why the acquisition strategy was executed, so Croda lie to us and we get diluted to hell. Is it any wonder their shares are at a near ten year low, won’t be long until we are dealing with a FTSE250 company. Currently down to 91 out of 100.

elric, i’m afraid i have to disagree, i think investors have every right to sulk with the way croda have treated us.

revenues expected 2021, 2022, 2023, 2024. they sign a four year deal, then need an extension, then pat themselves on the back for doing it in five years when it normally takes seven, why sign a feckin four year deal in the first place! then we don’t get a forecast like we were promised, then to top it all off we have to wait another five months because sa sign’s an nda that doesn’t even allow him to say if we have actually received revenues that we were promised before year end. complete **** show!

let’s not get carried away with other deals just yet, we have done one since ipo and at this present moment it’s contributed sweet fa.

Bazzao, that was my attempt at sarcasm. Unfortunately I am well aware of the impending acquisitions, dilution is a cancer. Let’s focus on doing deals with our IP

The only way the rot will stop is some good news, we can’t control any of the selling whoever it is, it’s a futile discussion. We need delivery, simple.

On the plus side, we will shortly be at cash breakeven so no more acquisitions and no more dilution.

Clio, don’t get me wrong I also believe the company has a very bright future and 99% of that as we stand here today is Croda but the fact is they have treated us with utter contempt and someone has blatantly lied, it’s in the rns’. What can’t speak can’t lie, it’s in black and white.

Dustbin is enthusiastic and there is nothing wrong with that, but a dash of reality wouldn’t go amiss, I know he means well. Thanks for the lift. My next AGM is Croda in April, I am buying some shares next week, now that will be fun!
