In return please read my posts in context. I think Avacta has a great future and is cheap at this SP. I’m hanging in because I’m well underwater. But the way they’ve handled expectations on Affidx has been woeful.

IMO the damage has been done, hence low SP. It’s all upside from here so of course I’m not selling.

So why do you think that the SP is so much lower than it should be? At least I was giving an opinion rather than being abusive. And don’t trot out the conspiracy theory rubbish again. Next you’ll be saying Avacta have mega deals for Affidx but can’t announce them because bound by NDAs.

I invested in April 2020 impressed by the potential and Al’s pedigree. It’s only over the last eighteen months that him over promising on the LFT front has shaken my confidence.

Factual Ito Affidx and sadly proved mostly right although I did say we’d get a couple of weeks sales in March before next variant came along. Sadly we won’t.

Whereas most of your Avacta posts have been ramps based on the most optimistic interpretation of any news. But I envy your positivity and hopefully we’ll all come out of this in profit later this year but not millionaires

I don’t see that anything I posted points to me having sold. It would be ridiculous at current price. I was just given my hapeth worth on why the SP looks very low at the moment.
If you look at my posting history you will see that I’ve been consistent in recognising the long term value of therapeutics side.

Price is low given AVA6000 progress and future earnings potential. IMO it’s because no one trusts Al after past two years. Confidence in company management is a key component in valuing stock and Al has a long way to go to build up that confidence.

It’s neither. It’s “binned”. There is no point if the time to tweak it to recognise a new variant is longer than the lifespan of that variant.

All us LTHs are relieved that AVA6000 is looking to be replicating it’s performance in rats. But the financial reward for us is a way off and personally I’m never going to trust anything Al says again unless it’s backed with facts or figures. Too many of his announcements on Affidx over the last two years could be read two ways. The rampers read them as positive. Others labelled derampers pointed out that the meaning could be entirely different. The most recent I love was something like “the banning of Affidx sales in UK whilst is undergoes CTDA will not materially affect sales this year”.

Sadly even before Omicron we couldn’t sell the “best test in the world” and Covid isn’t going to stop mutating waiting for us to catch up.
The expectation that Affidx can be tweaked for new variants in a few days is obviously unfounded. IMO it won’t be worth Avacta spending anymore money on the Covid LFT. Let’s hope there is a new target for the family of LFT products.
Meanwhile there is a bright future for therapeutics.

Too late to produce Omicron test. Need to be really quick off the mark with next one. Ie. Access to samples and scientists ready to go. Whether our partners will want to risk more money on producing kits for us is a different matter.

Yes there will be an RNS tomorrow saying new Affidx detects Omicron and all other variants yet to come can be incorporated in a new test in a matter of days. Deals already signed in US but bound by NDA.
