I was wondering why you lot bang on about US stock exchanges being open at 24:30 and not closing until 20:40 when it makes naff all difference. If Avacta not listed in US then they can only deal during the same time period as us.
That’s all you rude belligerent smart a*ses.

Ok. Yes it is. So next question is: do buys and sells in US affect SP on LSE directly?

If so what is the symbol?

Surely Yanks can buy at 8:30am as soon as LSE opens.

Certainly I can buy US stocks any time New York is open regardless of whether LSE is open. E.g. no problem trading US stocks at say 19:00 BST. What am I missing here?

And as for the “trolls” so called on here, we only tried to post some sensible concerns when Affidx was being ramped to high heaven on no tangible evidence. Now the ramping of Affidx has stopped then there is no need for the “trolls” to dispute the hype.

There are various TA tools that provide a useful indicator on the exact moment to buy or sell mainstream stocks. But AIM is very different although I do tend to take into account the obvious lines of support/resistance.

I think peeps have lost faith. How many times before have we heard that the Govt are about to pay up and it’s come to nothing. I am well underwater with this stock and am not gonna add any more. I’ve got better places to put my money. Admittedly with less upside potential but far more certainty.

It does bring to this BB notice one of a number of other novel competitive treatments out there. AVA6000 et al success is not a gimme or slam dunk or whatever sporting metaphor you prefer. NEVER INVEST WHAT YOU CANNOT AFFORD TO LOSE. However good the proposition might seem.

I like what you’re saying but I seem to remember very similar words used for Affidx in the past.
