None of us can be accurate because we are never given enough information. I thought best to model it on 6000 development targets achieved but taking into account lessons learned.

Anyhow my best guess for FPD is 14th April but even that is being optimistic.

But I will be delighted if FPD is in March. My model predicted April for FPD. So great. June for pivotal results is achievable.

And for the record I am now saying FPD in May.

Early on we thought that £100 wasn’t out of the question. Right now I’d be delighted with £10.

Do you include my predictions for initial 6103 data, end of 6000 P1 and likely timescale for a licence deal as misinformation even though they are in line with what CC has outlined?? And are loosely based on 6000 early clinical trial time lines.

Or do you mean the misinformation than keeps being posted on these events being “any day now”.

One poster said FPD would be 15 March. It obviously wasn’t. At that time I predicted 15 April which after further news from Avacta, I shifted back into May.

In the end it doesn’t matter and soon we will all find out. My only point is that far too many people on here go for overoptimistic timescales and then bleat on or kick out when it takes longer.

Thanks. But I didn’t say it was cancer. In fact it was for early stage (before noticeable symptoms) Alzheimers. And I failed screening because of my genetics and a negative TPau blood test. Something of a relief. But it gave me first hand insight into the clinical drugs trial process.

That doesn’t significantly differ from my predictions and certainly is nothing like the “we will have initial results in a matter of days” ramping brigade.

I predicted FPD in May. Which may not be the same as “The next step is the first patient “.

CC has stated that these things take a long time. I Imagine that they have a cut off date at which time they will have the results of a number of screening tests on potential trial participants. They will then choose the best of the bunch for the first cohort. What they will not do is answer a knock at the door and whip the first person in and start pumping them full of drugs. There is also a legal process to go through but hopefully that can run in parallel.

As I posted last year, the selection and screening process for the trial I signed up for took 4 months from application cut off date to FPD. Hopefully we will be quicker and I HOPE WE WILL. But the continual over optimistic predictions help no one.

I’m an old fart with an excellent pension and to fly a Spitfire was a bucket list item to tick off. Like drive a steam train , etc

If you live near Biggin you will know the Spitfire in question. Why wouldn’t I fly a Spifire I was an RAF pilot from 1968 to1972. As I said we haven’t all lived sad lives.

Anyway all this acrimony started because I said I was going out in the sun to fly a model aeroplane. What is wrong with you nasty lot.

ITS A MODEL SPITFIRE THIS TIME

Those of you who know me on FB will have seen photos of me flying a real full size Spitfire a couple of years back - no not mine🤣 It was a Mk9 two seater I think - ‘Grey Goose’.

Anyway usual model flying experience of 5 mins flying and 2 hours trying to retrieve it from a tree.

BTW not all of us live sad little lives with no fun. Showing my Classic American car this weekend.

Glad to our favourite share has recovered a bit.
