Well I think K has had a rough ride since first mentioning funding some months ago. (Scorn maybe), if not ridicule. Yes I read the posts - don't be cheeky. I agreed with Bobbust - that's that and that's OK.

Regarding codes and MM's manipulation I tend to doubt that goes on. . . . but again we don't have to agree.

RW, you know over the years, BoD have always seemed to act as soon as the funding issue has came over the horizon. It's impossible to predict - but that's the way it's been.

I've mentioned before that I actually find it a little encouraging that BoD have not acted yet - still hoping for a better event than an OO or a Placing. We'll see . . . .

RW - re.''serious research and reassurance.'' With a simple desire to be part of Scancell's science - I agree the 'two' would have had a very close look at the scence and the technicals. As for 'reassurance', 'we're funded for this year and talks going on' - nothing else is available for Scancell to say. IMO you can't read more into the nevertheless happy event of these arrivals.

Scancell's eminent Recruits signed up because they are impressed with the science and it's potential. It's optimistic to assume their Recruitment implies anything about funding coming. They will have had confidence that the Company they are joining will, one way or another, have a funded future . . be it from raises or deals wouldn't matter so much to them.

Recruits not likely to be told of detailed progress on deals but they would pick up on the 'in-house' levels of optimism. My own guess is it was the Scancell science and potential that attracted them.

Nevertheless two excellent additions to an outstanding team - just 19 !
