As you examine me on the point, why is it that the Govt have a target of 100,000 a day? Last figure I saw was 8400 and that only 2000 NHS Staff had been tested in 2020. Actually it's easy to answer your 08.47 so . . . just MO but we (the UK) have to continue social distancing, self-ISO, lockdown (however you want to put it) for as long as necessary, test test test, contact tracing, equip the NHS and Volunteers - more of the same in fact and do it as much better as is possible. C7 got there now - you have to read those 2 quotes in context - from the 2 DT articles. I can't add more really - read the article through and see what the writer is saying. Re. Italy - I've read that all deaths in Hospitals where any CV-19 is present, are attributed as CV-19. The figures derived from different systems are inevitably confusing - but UK and France are starting to include non-Hospital deaths.

RW - the quote makes sense in the DT writer's context. Have a read. Otherwise, snide as ever and this is not really the time is it ? As for tin foil, fine by me. Stands up to heat well if I remember.

You want ME to answer the question I asked ? Then yes, reasonable to surmise as above but not conclusively, until we know more with time. However, the USA policy can be regarded as 'low intervention', particularly at the early stages, and it
doesn't look good. Let's hope that Sweden's brave try works better, for some reason or other . . .

Just watched a report from Sweden and some thought that more Folks are getting nervous . . ATB
