Not the original article I was reading but explains why costs of windfarms are dropping.

Londoner7, I read an article the other day comparing the cost per kilowatt energy produced by wind farms and was compared with the cost from hydrocarbons and they claimed to be both at 5 cents where as before 2018 the wind farm technology was a lot more expensive. I have not saved it on favourites and would need to go and find it again. I will try and find under my search history.

Caught between the chart gaps and struggling for direction. Hopefully USA open resolves the direction of travel.

Have you followed what Shell and other majors are doing. The new story is energy evolution and diversity. The return on wind farms has changed massively in the last 3 years. Of course they can not be used all the time. Solar may be useful 12 hours of the day. The future is oil with a mix of everything else. The biggest fall in use of oil will depend on a move away from plastics and using less diesel and petrol engine cars only. The dividend for the most part may well remain because of market size and its how much energy the company sells overall will determine its success. The race is on for the next hydrogen cell technology that has mass usage.

I am in BP. It has a gap to 323p which is certainly getting filled tomorrow with the rise tonight in Brent. There is another large juicy gap in the BP charts around 390p which I think gets filled by late July. I am still in Tullow big time where I am waiting to see what they get for selling the Kenya assets. I am waiting for Egypt to get past Covid-19 and relaxing laws before going back into Centamin. If oil goes up sharply Russian stock like Polymetal and POG will struggle because of currency appreciation impacting labour costs. So I like Fresnillo a lot with a new silver mine coming on stream soon. I hope the next mine they build will be a gold mine. Finally I have been in Lloyds but would only return after the UK job losses have materialised and it has truly tanked.

Have possibly made a mis-step on their trading unless Asia knocks Brent back tonight.

Strong rally on HUI Arca. I suspect the gap to 794 could be closed tomorrow if it continues to go higher. I agree with your strategy of keeping half and that is exactly what I am doing as well. The stay, add more and hold strategy comes into play sometime in July for me.

I have modelled what has gone everyday for weeks. Just over two weeks ago the government forecast that around 8,000 UK Covid 19 infection arose everyday. I believe that figure has dropped to around 4,800 in just 17 days. The infection rate across 32 London Boroughs out of the 4,800 is under 170 for all of London. The UK recovery rate stands at 91.25% and could possibly near those of China at 99.9% by end of July. The key is avoiding a second wave of infections and hopefully the track and trace teams will deliver it. The UK could be back to normal in August.

Gap in 777-794. I love gaps high up in the chart. Only gap lower is 695-704p which is the really cheap share price zone.

Will the market maker give cheap Fresnillo share price. I await to make really big buys if cheap price offered.

So only the initial breakaway gap at the low of the year with many gaps above 370p to back fill. We also have a new gap above 316.75- 323.05 to fill. So a nice dip this afternoon is to be bought. Yummy.

To expensive for me to dabble on this one.

Now I have something to sell above 800p without being fully jumped out.
