February rising support line now being tested. A breach with validation on tomorrows close may deliver a down channel trend.

Recovered support line although appears to be weakening at 1030.5p. Next support is 1016p. Very strong support at 968p on a full retracement of FIB extensions.

Issuing an RNS with no timelines as to when the work is expected to be completed has not helped. Time is money as well. Design has to close in the coming months.

From what I can gather there is no mention of using gypsum stacks as a source. The technology was applied to land fill waste material and certainly used on mined ores. SP may get a response from the company as to whether this means they need to get a licence or not. Another factor is that Purdue technologies are fine in a laboratory but how transferable it is to a manufacturing plant on scale up is beyond my expertise.

If it was patented by others then the company would be operating under their patent licence and would have a licence agreement in place and had sole rights for exploitation of gypsum stacks. If the company has its own knowledge and methodology and chose to keep it as know how, it is their chosen intellectual property strategy. One can speculate how secure that strategy is. However, the company has made its own risk assessment and that includes any risk of an ex-employee sharing that knowledge with a competitor. (In one of my prior job roles I was responsible for managing intellectual property of a large organisation). Tony

The company could address it as a statement on security risk assessment on their assets in South Africa. I am sure the company has an equal opportunities policy and that would be a useful reminder. The whole world has seen and heard what is going on in South Africa. What was positive is that it can no longer be ignored and that any investment in South Africa is not for politicians to enrich themselves but to provide security for all who live in that country.
