Pensana MKA and rainbow rare have the same start and end points on a 3 year graph, a year to date graph and 3 months graph. All 3 are acting in a very similar way.

Saltend has other mine sources wanting to deliver feedstock for processing which allows flexibility on when the Angola mine starts to deliver its supply to Saltend.

My message was specifically to round the trap, Theo. Its up to him what he decides to do and whether he decides its worth doing or not via the Pensana website. Its not up to either one of us. At least what I wrote was to help him do so if he wanted to communicate constructively or not and demonstrate his interest and follow up on his investment.

Finally Theo they are two bond issuance. One was for Saltend that was to be agreed in June and the other was for the Angola mine in December 2022. A fund raise happens as well and some of that tranche front loads work in Angola before they get the second bond. Of course you do not follow the company communications and instead quote from Chinese, not peer reviewed, rag mags that exist to support Pensana competitors and target independent supply chains developing in the West that are deemed a threat.

Try writing to Victoria at Pensana and be respectful in tone and ask the following;

I understand from a talk given by Paul Atherley given in New York last month, that an agreement for the bond supporting the construction of the Saltend plant was expected to be agreed in the week commencing 20th June. Can you tell me if things are still going to plan in that regard or what are the new timeline expectations.

In the same talk given by Paul it was indicated that the a capital raise would be undertaken to start work on the Angola Mine development and that the bond for the major costs of the Angola mine was to be agreed by December 2022 at the latest. Can they confirm if these plans still remain true given the macro-environment of rising bond rates.

I write to the company often, but would like others to do more, especially as veracity gets questioned if the same person has to be the go-between all the time.

Hopefully you will be able to share a response whether its from Victoria or one of her colleagues. They may write back and say they are heavily into negotiations and will alert the market as soon as they have material agreement. At least you would feel you have done something that validates whether you want to continue with the investment story or not and you decide on the basis of your own interactions with the company. Rob it all depends on the analyst view on future gold prices. At 1900 gold price it should be 114p for example. At 1850 we may arrive at 108-109p.

A frequent analyst on the half time show (around 17:15 ish) on Squawk box praised Lynas Rare earths for helping USA deliver some rare earth supply chain security. He says forget China providing rare earth supplies its vital that USA has its independent supplies and rare earth mine. As the stock market gets bomb out the point made was the infrastructure to process rare earths has to get built. The analyst made the point that some stocks were important at this time to be bullish on and so why he gave the rare earth example.

PS the previous analyst speaker made it clear what bitcoin and crypto truly was and that part of the market does go to near zero as having no real utility value.

To double check if it was just market volatility. Hopefully they will get back to me. The GDX would have CEY at 82p as fair value on the general decline. This share is smashed up already and is trading at a fraction of its book value and also its fundamental valuation of gold reserves and resources in the ground.

This morning we have a Chinese military general instructing the USA navy where it can go and not go in the west Pacific. You would think that this stock market would realise the importance of rare earth refining and mining would be as 90% was dependent on China and climate change was still remotely important. Of course the use of rare earths in defence is critical, but perhaps a USA President hitting 80 plus needs more time to figure that one out until he gets another reminder from China. One suspects Chinese politicians are doing daily dementia tests on Biden. Sadly, Pensana shares drop back until somebody realises the importance of getting on with the energy transition and securing the supply chain that has to go with it.

On Rainbow Rare site they have thorium for Lynas mine at 750 ppm and LJ at 967 ppm Arufura has 2700 ppm. So the 29% is on a mean average over an entire resource. So Meyer could not get the 29% right in what he was referring to. Also only part of LJ is being mined that is subject to weathering and has less thorium than the overall average and hence the mine life of 20 years. Pensana have a method to precipitate out thorium so it goes into a paste and stored in the tailings which the company explained in writing on previous occasions. The know how is retained as intellectual property. It is partly why the end mining material is a sulphate and not a carbonate on what goes to Saltend. The recovery on thorium removal is high so any radiation is at background levels that would currently exist around Saltend on whatever is transported from the LJ mine.

The response should be positive overall. They are clearly continuing the drill programme in WK, they are spending a lot on pre-stripping at Singuida and have first pour in Q1 which means full production from around July 2022. They clearly need to advanced Tanzania controlled drilling at Luika. The part of the loan set aside for divi is $3.2M if they do two at 0.1p. I suspect a large institutional holder has put pressure on to pay divis so they can pass onto holders of their funds. At least a lot of uncertainty is removed and markets like less of that type of issue.

Why don.t you look up proactive investors PA talk he gave last Tuesday who he states who is dealing with the bond and then go and write to that person and then be ignored as the company now employ a new person since March to deal with Investors. Ooops I forgot your not an investor at all so why would they bother. Many contributors have wiped the floor with you about everything you have to say and like Monty Pythons black knight you want to continue the fight. Sundrum, one of his 60 odd companies is Creo Medical which Theo has traded on so its not just Pensana. I have known many companies over the years that have achieved successful projects. I have known several that had remarkable success and to follow it with spectacular failures and equally I have known business men (particularly in USA) who experienced failures and then later achieved incredible success.

Paul Atherley experienced a failure with a very small oil company back in 2014 when USA and Saudia Arabia pumped and dumped huge amounts of oil on the global market. A significant number of small oil companies were not profitable with a 60% drop in oil price and the banking sector was only providing companies with a fixed amount of production hedge at the higher prices. Indeed a huge number of USA fracking companies went to the wall as their hedging volumes completed. There was absolutely nothing PA could do but to close down that business down as it was a higher cost oil producer and it was not profitable to continue. A second company that PA quit and then moved to Pensana involved a uranium mine in Spain. The Spanish public protested against the mine opening for years and the Spanish Government avoided making a decision on the project and PA got fed up and went to Pensana. In the end he could not persuade the Spanish Government to have a uranium mine operational in their territory. In both these examples PA has gone out of his way to have a clear vision on future market prices and also to include as many stakeholders as possible to have a green energy project with Pensana. He has therefore taken previous setbacks and used them to avoid recurrence.

Theo has decided to use a fundamental as an investor decision. Some use chart data and others may use other fundamentals that are different then Theo's historical management outcome measures as a predictor of failure or success. I would argue his choice of fundamental measure has to accurately identify that the business failure was down to the actions of the person in question. When the reasons are market failure by the actions of other people it is not a clear cut fundamental measure of accuracy on the predictive value of future performance as one of the risk outcome measures is to close a business when the risk can not be managed by planned contingency measures. I therefore consider Theo's approach to investment choice on his single metric as no better than what others choose to do. I also feel he lost any credibility when he accused me of being a liar and giving false information on this website board.
