FH, I have to side with NGR in that Tenner spiel has to be taken in its totality whenever he spoke. He always gave himself a back door on the wordsmithing. Folks here may not like it and just point to one of the dead cats thrown on the table, but what NGR and I have said is true.

Company with £72M to be paid in around Feb in cash and its currently valued at £59M. Is it a baby chucked out with bath water in the current retreat. Made a small average down of 2.2p at 18.78p thinking it might hold.

On the rise up I took half off at 90/91p area but will rebuy when it settles down to give a good average. It is a longer term play. I have kept the position small on this one.

5 hourly and hourly chart has formed a down channel from the gold peak price. Unless 2008 breaks tomorrow morning the direction is down for gold. Most relevant ETF for Centamin was down 1-2% range and CEY drifted down in line with it.

No longer with gaps but the peak in gold is in for the time being. Gold weak season usually starts in May and can last to late July. We have lost a tailwind from heavy jewellery buying that helps in other parts of the year. Corresponds quite often on the awaited India monsoon season.

It is important for traders to value investors and for the investors to know that traders are useful in providing liquidity and momentum. Some traders become investors on stocks they really like and some investors become traders when they try and execute an exit as they are unhappy with fundamental changes. Investors and traders can use the green filter button to weed out those which do not interest them where the motivations differ. That choice is better than folks having a go at each other.

I can just imagine BT trying to wordsmith his achievements when a professional journalist asks him, does he know of any other CEO that provides no annual calendar of outputs to investors and additionally oversees an operation that has the lowest confidence on PE ratings in the UK stock market where the company is based in Runcorn instead of say the likes of Sudan, Mali, Russia or North Korea.

Henry you are doing a great job for everybody for us all to get shares at very low prices. The company at this rate will be worth say half of what they have in the bank plus a manufacturing facility within 12 months although it awaits orders that could deliver half its enterprise value in one year. For a company to be on a forward rate of just 2 PE is quite remarkable and perhaps the inflection point was to set this as the perverse record in the UK stock market and nearly everywhere else except in parts of the world that provide a state of total banditry .

I was aware of the 2022 funding which keeps things ticking over. The company has far greater capacity to emerge out of a recessionary environment far stronger with the money then not having it and being distracted by appeals court hearings. A few nanoco competitors are running out of money and that is evident in their cash flow and accounts. I have looked at one competitor already and they might be cash flow negative as well as asset negative on the balance sheet by some time next year unless they get a lot of luck from somewhere or somebody to buy part of their business.

The electronics technology sector in Asia on a slow down as USA economy slows down. This may have been the reason for the pullback yesterday. If no deal was done with Samsung and the company was now on an appeals track without the money, the share price would be nose diving right now. The cash received and cash incoming next year could be vital as the entire sector has a tough time and trying to raise money to keep going is challenging.

The CEO Brian Tenner is a wordsmith. All the time people remember what he says early in a communication and then ignore all the forward looking statements that go with it. Of course he said what people quoted here time and time again we all agree with it. However, you have to include everything else he says. Taking one sentence is utterly pointless with Brian Tenner. It is necessary to examine every word, every sentence and every caveat he gives. If he has influenced with his upside potential, it is the case to pull up the blinds to see if it is sunlight or darkness behind it. The fact we all have to do this is a loss of future trust.

The Board is getting a lot of money for what they do and the accusations by Hamoodi without evidence did not help anybody. It looked like a poker bluff that has gone badly wrong. Somehow we need someone who can influence the Board to be responsive on shareholder communications and they reset the future vision along with deliverables and risks and that we have proper bench marking on this company's outputs.

Cp spot on. Those who put it in the long term draw and enjoy holidays and only view the share price every 6 months have no problem especially if they have no cash calls to worry about for the next 18 months. The very proactive managers wait for the best prices they can get usually to correct the occasional investment/trading error somewhere else in the portfolio. Tony

What is promising is that the mining sector has expertise to help support funding new projects. A lot of names have been guessed at but when I used the word strategic funding mckinsey is the first to emerge on a search engine.

It was well flagged it was going to be awful. A few people here have jumped in very early. They will need to do some serious average downs later on. The divi has to be suspended as they can not borrow to give out in divis.

Correct TGL that is the exact message going around. I think it is more likely that funding is being sorted for immediate issues. It explains why the company update the share investor page and a few other things that are going on.

Hence why I have taken a vacation from AAZ. The second quarter will be another poor show. AAZ will likely improve in Q4 this year. I suspect we could see an 80p handle here by early summer. It should be a great stock to hold in 2024 and could be 160p in 2025. A lot of patience and acceptance of volatility needed for 2023. I will reinvest after it gets through the low and be one of the investors to help get it back up. Tony
