can you explain the technique behind "seasonal probabilities" ?

plus maybe china reopening will soon fix the basket price a bit and platinum forecast to do very well next few years

its a good querstion misskin, and one most on here are prob thinking as well.....as previously we only really got into these levels and beyond on a higher basket price. my take:

1. increased ounces makes up for basket price
2. clearer and higher (slightly) dividend policy
3. people going to income shares and we are one of best
4. exploration targets now identified with real value
5. cash balance that was ignored for far too long

just hope this great slp strength can do something for my btharisa holding as well

nice to hear from you stoodio, yes they are somewhat, and i have been over doing the KOD stake building as of late, now while i dont believe in electric cars at all, if the world is hell bent on turning everything into batteries i'll make some money out of it in the meantime.

even if they execute averagely should multi bag and if they get it right this will be huge i think

everything in their favour, should be bigger resource updates, and mine will be producing from april next year. its not one of those build a mine in 5 year deals.

and then theres gold.

have always looked at JLP but missed boat at 3p during covid, and the ceo doesnt impress me, whereas Jaco always has, and looking at the size of him, he could rip the pgms out the ground with his bear hands, which would lower costs massively.

i'm hoping as they usually do, that SLP can raise my Tharisa holding, as they always used to be SLP + 20p (then i can pare back, they just dont move, and occupy good ISA money, even though a very good company whose time will come

The next SLP will be KOD hopefully, have been building a stake over there.

i think the share price is reasonably low (wouldnt say that low) based on most people and hotter money look at the rhodium price and ignore the financials somewhat, as well as the fact that the great dividend is just expected now

historically they have bought back in 80/90s range, lets see if they move expectations a bit

would welcome some more buybacks, saves on divi payments

once china has a full year of being open after covid lockdowns cant see basket being down for long

now at a level i never thought i would be at but this share is very engaging to say the least

does look poised to break higher

quite pleased they have made that statement, it was a bit all over the place while still being really good

mixture of final plus special and some randomness thrown in makes for a bit more volatility

think this is far better, see what they say tomorrow

i'll add my 2 cents worth, dont post regularly and dont care for the arguments and ****ging off, it shows people either have too much time or issues, and personally dont care what other people do (why would you if you dont know them ?)

anyway, the only risk here is execution by kod and the predicting the future of the lithium mkt, this is how you build positions in commods. there is slight execution risk but for now get benefit of the doubt

to make money you need to build early and wait for predictions to come true, so in this company the path and future (being a very short commods timeframe) is pretty clear

jlp are a much harder animal to evaluate, partly because they cover a lot of bases, and partly because management over promises way too much

i was only really into the copper, if it were pgms it would be slp or tharisa for the chrome etc

if they get to a silly price over there might dip in, butb they never seem to really live up to the hype

we might see a few come over here as well

seriously hope that is the case artrader, but might be on the full optimistic side

i have always wanted some JLP and was looking at the same time as slp, should have bought both, went for slp and never been happier

bet the folks over at jlp wished they had our straightfwd, efficient management team

already in aoi quite big but other oilers can also be interesting

as for tharisa, yes we all know its crazily undervalued but for me as a shareholder after karo they need to consolidate and do limited futher investments and/or efficiencies and start either buying back shares or issuing huge dividends. then the mkt will take notice if they let us buy back as these ridiculous levels (not sure they will)

its the constant investment and some jam tomorrow that holds the price down (though mostly think that is how good companies are run)

one of the many reasons for not being married, can think of a thousand others......

came across this and was wondering what it refers to, and how it relates to the mkt concentrate price of over $5000/mt ?
