they are walking this up in a very nice orderly way, will prob have to be the odd mini tree shake here and there to get well over £1 but company, through its actions, has reported very rude health

you dont do buybacks and raise divi that much if they dont have faith

i wonder if slp knew they would raise the divi when they did they share buybacks....let me think.....

the one simple rule people should use to view the stock mkt, is that you are buying cash, and thats all there is to it, whether today or tomorrow we are buying cash

and ours is cheaper than the cash we are using to pay for it

would argue that longer term tharisa are better and of course nothing beats AOI but still as of now this is crazily good

this was and still is one of the most obvious things in the mkt last week, some doubt in my mind about the special being kept after the 8p final which is huge, but still, we all know the dividend is sustainable with no debt and huge cash

will slowly be worked over £1 thats for sure, or i add some more

more like 10%, its 8p,, only when we are a £1 (pretty soon way things are going) will be 8% (depends if you are incl the special as well, in which case obviously higher)

as long as they maintain the dividend, and they should, that woulkd be 10.25 for the year (dont think they pay an interim, might be wrong), so 8p + special of 2.25p = 10.25

thats an absurd payout in these hard times.

this should easily get to over a £1 very quickly

have added, though was hard to even buy 7000

is it fair to assume, as companies dont like reducing dividends unless they have to, that this will be the final going fwd ?

this just isnt the sort of company that needs too much chat, they mine pgms, they process, they make great profits and are a very trustworthy company so you just let them get on with it

wouldnt say its beyond anyones control, once our dreadful BOE and EU start raising rates by pretty much being forced to it will come down

also BOJ, swiss bank and swedish bank need to raise big time too (Bank of canada are only ones raising anything like the fed)
