Morning all, well I was nearly right except they jumped in a week early, as I said previously I decided to and have sold down 2/3rds of my holding ( at a great loss ) but was waiting for next week to decide on the rest, oh well that decision has been made for me.

Not to positive about another opportunity in Europe, beacons track record of making the right decision doesn't instill confidence, I've been in company's operating in Europe before none have been successful, would've been happier if they were on a different continent looking.

UJO getting involved ? umm its possible given they seem to be concentrating across the pond and could some sort of deal get Bramhill back some of his money after his awful decision which I followed thinking he would know more than anybody, everyday is a learning day.

We are where we are, its going to come back with something or go tits up, wouldn't want to bet on that, its wait and see.

I wouldn't rule that out Steve, but now we are only 2 weeks from the deadline I think the next RNS will say, "although discussions on an RTO continue it is clear we will not be able to complete any deal before the six month deadline therefore shares in Beacon will be suspended from the 07th July"

I have reluctantly decided that the risk v reward at this point in the month, having given them nearly the whole six months, is heavily stacked against so I'm bailing at a substantial loss, can always buy back in if they do pull something out the hat, time will tell.

If RH couldn't agree to the proposed deal he's either gone voluntarily or was pushed (most likely ) so Trafigura can put in their own man ( woman ) there can be no doubt who's in the driving seat and any deal will be designed so they can get out with their money + a bit and they won't care who they tread over on the rush for the exit, we PI's will be first to get flattened.

Ok thanks, I suppose one could say , they would say that would they not, however given this mornings buy's maybe something some people know about or they are taking a punt in the hope / averaging down , which is what I'm thinking to do.

Ocelot, interesting article in that it is a Centrica focused report in which they say "Rough is unique in being the only viable long-term hydrogen storage solution " Rough is already in operation but needs £2b invested to deal with hydrogen,which Centrica have, just waiting on government to confirm support prices, sort of confirms that UKOG is out of the frame because who will the gov; support ? A huge company who has & is willing to invest £2b in an existing facility or a hapless tinpot company that has nothing , not even a hole in the ground to p11s in.

Scarlet if that's the case then why is the rig going to be on site and who's going to pay for it ? I'm sure the rig operator must be sure they are going to be paid .

None of what we are being told at the moment makes any sense, BCE seem to be carrying on regardless with what they have told us so far, I guess all will be revealed fairly soon now.

Ummmm last RNS in August stated "LIKELY" during September todays states "LIKELY" week commencing 7th well at least thats a shorter time span a week versus a month BUT "likely"

I'm not getting excited until it happens, fingers crossed.
