Scalp - Good post, for years CCL have looked at hedging fuel but they have found over a 12 month period the odds don't stack up and in fact with the ever moving fuel costs they could in fact loose money so they do not hedge fuel as you say. They usually go by the share price and valuation to give them support when costs are high and in turn give them stability when costs are low. They have advised this is something they are looking at constantly but yet to enter into agreements for hedging fuel. CCL look upon hedging fuel like a surcharge and like royal Caribbean last year they apparently lost money due to this fact.

Clear out the profit takers , pre market looking strong we could be in for a good rise 14s possibly later today .

Results out soon bhants , they will be all over this I expect big swings from here within !

Bhants - looks like the shorts are hard at work this pm, good set of results should see this rise and the shorts will struggle to hold this back imo, yes bot will be delighted I hope it holds for him and others, we are away again 23rd on a xmas and new year cruise on Cunard reportedly its fully booked. We should all be ok soon when BJ & Farage get in power !!!!!!!

HI bhants - I would of thought the results would be out latest by the 20th, they will want time to absorb before the shut down and the shorts can get to works for hopefully good gains in January. Hopefully not a bloodbath this pm !

Back from work early first time In what seems months, this is jumping around like a rag doll , in my view this is ready for a re-rate most probably by Friday I can see 15s if nothing comes along to bring it down. Glad to see some back in profit well done.

Regarding the comment for Debt issues, this is well factored in now and I cant see debt being an issue , US & UK elections 2024 there's no way they are going to hike rates to a degree where this will affect the strategy of debt consolidation for the like s of companies such as ccl. Q4 Results will be good and with sentiment before results day we could see new recent highs no doubt on and after results for a few days the SP will drop.

Get those cruises booked , we have at least 7 booked all on cunard, all those ports turning away cruise ships will soon be begging for them to come back as some already have.

Just seen arcadia has delayed her sailing on Thursday by 24 hours due to the incoming storm, with regards to the share price this is beginning to look like the new norm for CCL, again bookings through the roof sailings full but no movement. Keep the faith !!
