It is frustrating to say the least, the current trend would indicate the new average in terms of the SP. Not surprising with a very uncertain world at present my feeling is if by any chance Russia /Ukraine conflict comes to an end or an agreement is made my opinion is this would unstick the current stagnation in most travel stocks. I am aware there are lots of narratives that affect the SP but in my view this is the major one. I'm guessing we will see a short lived uptick on Q1 but beyond will be crystal ball time.

From the recent updates on bookings etc I would of thought Q1 would be very good results indeed, something is holding this back !!

I agree with the current uptrend in bookings etc this will have to swing in our favour sooner or later , CCL are the biggest cruise operator and the dismal SP in turn from the likes of royal is disappointing especially for those who had previously bought in very high.

Just booked queen Mary NYC back to Southampton, within two days we were advise of an upgrade which seems strange !

Looks like queen Anne has just passed her first sea trials so this should be on track for the first voyages in May 2024.

ken - i knew someone on our last cruise who done a sailing with saga they said it was brilliant but expensive. i also met a *** couple who said they sailed with virgin and said it was a party ship but very good so i suppose it’s what you like !

US inflation higher than expected also so no rate cuts apparently, this maybe one of the reasons CCL is taking a beating of late.

Sund - I would of almost agreed with you on that but the employment figures are out and there are surplus vacancies etc and the employment figures of gainful employment are high so this may give the BOE another excuse to keep rates higher. We will see in the coming months.

Totally agree Ken it’s all gimmicky in my view, we are used to paying a premium for Cunard but the current prices of today have shot up, hope you are keeping well

Thanks for the reply's, yes I think the wars and uncertainty are going to have an effect, we also noticed yesterday we looked at a cruise for June and today the same cruise balcony etc was £1700 more apparently due to Cunard releasing news of Queen Anne naming ceremony !!

This is looking quite dire today ! Are we aware of any reason for the drop ?
