It's in the public domain as a 'potential' upcoming IPO along with another one. The same broker was offering on 2 others, (I didn't take much notice of who) with terms etc. Suggests they've started the process etc but are still underwriting it so a little way off but the wheels are in motion. More deals/tie ups etc won't do any harm.

Gut feeling is that with all the regulatory rules coming in and the market we're talking about it should be better terms than LUCYD but who knows. We'll have to wait and see

Morning Puma, either or both I'd say mate. It's definitely out there. I've tracked that much down. Don't know the underwriting terms of the offer yet though and whether it's successful or not I reckon no-one will know until the last minute bar the brokers. For now probably just assume all progress will impact directly. Regards

What you say regarding valuation is true of course. How do you value intellectual property and the take out opportunity. Very difficult in early stages. Until them traders will definitely be looking to charts so we can't dismiss them really. They are fundamental to everything. Check Lucy out now. It's aligning itself with the charts, but needed the good news to kick it off in the first place.

On a side note. Anyone got a comment as to where we should be over the weekend. 1 hour to go !

Lucyd consolidating above what's hopefully new support at 2.60. Flirting with it on the pull back yesterday but holding up. If it holds or preferably kicks on today, every chance $4 and $5 are not far off.GLA

PS. S&P 500 bounced off 4100 as we hoped. Imo we really should have a stable few weeks, until the FED, ECB etc get involved again.

Just what I was thinking. They like to do the rounds and we haven't heard anything concrete from Guident for a while.....race to the next RNS but today looks like it's going to be a little quieter. Very pleased to see Lucyd moving North. It wouldn't be impossible for them to have another good day. a little reistance at $4 and then a clear rund to 5.

Imo they can get there is swift order with a tail wind so fingers crossed for favourable conditions.

You can trade lucy on IG Kat and you're right. TEK aren't going to lend shares to be shorted. Look no further than the warrant holders (2 for each share!). I really don't want to see that with Microsalt.

Folks betting all the way up to $4 stateside so maybe we are going to get some joy. Anyone who slapped on shorts just over $2.60 may well have to close too which will fuel any rise.

It will. Hoping for a good day on the markets there and that the S&P 500 bounces off 4100. That should help. If it's not priced in it should react very positively indeed but I'm sure people know about it so no gimme there at all.

Either way. They look and sound like 'best in class' - Very impressive and as Nelson says, if Lucy are the worst of the portfolio there is a lot of mileage here.

Nice RNS. The product looks excellent and at the price they should be shifting these easily through their new distribution outlets. Competitors must be focusing intently now.

Who doesn't love a bit of Gene Wilder ! - Go with your gut Big Bang. I think you have more or less summed it up. The science is sound, innovated etc but it needs TEKs management to get it off the ground. They've already got two of the portfolio moving and they're both making sound progress. Bodes well for what's to come - Arguably the biggest movers and shakers (I'll get my coat) are yet to come. Personally I love the hedge. In all honesty only one of any of them have to take off big time and we're home and hosed :) I remember trawling the internet for port entry info on Belluscura units way back. They needed 30 before the FDA would even look at approval. Everything has come a hell of a long way since then, and in relatively short order !

Thanks. Presume Tek will be locked in for 18 months on IPO, so timing the market not overly important.. any idea how much Tek will be able to sell on IPO?

Hi Trendz. We'll have to wait and see re lock ins. Bell had a good deal, but Lucy not so good. They wanted to get it away early though and imo paid the penalty. The devil will be in the detail and I guess will depend on the demand. Hence the dotting the eyes and crossing the Ts. Bell and Lucy were floated at approximately $40 million so on balance something like that. We really will have to see though

Haha Big Bang. Seen it all and done it all by the looks of it. I'll take that as a firm endorsement to TEK as an investment. Just don't tell the wife, not yet anyway :)
